Wisconsin Dyno Days
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
just thought i'd pass this on to any interested parties...
Beyond Redline will be hosting Dyno Days April 5-6 (sat-sun), 3 pulls for $50.
Dyno Days offers a great opportunity to get to know one of the best shops in the midwest. whether you dyno or not i suggest you stop by as things are always interesting.
while in Green Bay grab a lunch at Curley's Pub at Lambeau Field just a 10 minute ride from the shop. say "Hi" to Brett for me.
the dyno is a 4 wheel mega hp Eddy Current setup.
Boss man Luke Stubbs gets an"A" from me for his tuning/fabbing abilities. (i did 3 multi hour dyno sessions w him in 07 and will be back as soon as the snow melts.) Luke knows tuning and rotaries.
meanwhile if you are in the area stop by the shop and say hello...

i have no commercial affiliation and am just a VERY satisfied paying customer.
you should get to know Luke if you live in wisconsin.

Oh goody! I'll be at both!
I should try and get the FB running by the dyno event, for the baseline stuff. $50 is pretty cheap, and I figure it's a good way to really see the impact of the mods. I can take the real dyno and compare it to Gtek results, kinda figure out where mods will affect it. Besides, I want to see ~88 hp on a dyno.

Hello,
If you want to participate in the Dyno event April 5th, please make sure to email me at:
Tim@beyondredline.com
This way I can reserve your spot. We looking at having between 20-25 cars on Saturday and if enough people sign up, we will extend it to Sunday.
Once we get closer to the actual day I'll send out an estimated schedule so you will know approximatly when your dyno session will be.
Thanks again to Howard for letting everyone know about the event. If you havn't been out to the shop, please feel free to stop by anytime for a tour. We are really looking forward to growing our business with the RX community.
Thanks, see you guys in April!

I grew up driving my parent's 79 and 85 and of course became hopelessly addicted to them. I don't own one currently, but I am trying my best to find an 85' in good running condition. Actually, I would be happy with any first gen in good condition. I just found this site a week ago, and it is really nice to see so many Rx-7 lovers out there! Anywho, just wanted to stop in and say hey.

I suppose you guys would find that interesting....
Yes, the rotary powered go-kart will be at the shop! As a matter a fact I will take some pictures to post up here so you guys can see. Its a pretty rare, and neat toy.
I believe it may be for sale as well...

I finally settled on the RX-7 that I wanted. She is a 1984 GSL-SE in mint condition. The leather interior is beautiful and lacks any damage, and the body is in pristiine shape with no rust. She has the original Tornado gray paintjob. The original 12a rotary was replaced ~60,000 miles ago with the fuel injected 13B, and they put on oil cooler on her to boot. She drives like a dream and I am fully addicted to RX-7 bliss yet again! Here are some pic.s:

GSL-SEs had a 13B EFI. The SE denotes that it is EFI 13B.
Very clean car. I better see it at MRR.
Few things to check right away, the radiator and the fuel tank. These have hindered the movement of my GS.
