If you came in through the main entrance by turn 14 you went to the left and up maybe 500 feet and took a right. there was a small mazda sign at the turn. it took me over an hour to find it because everyone thought i was talking about the international rotary club at turn 8.

And I will be rolling with my FB if I can get a new radiator, gas tank and some other parts. It would be a little sweet to have a few RXs going together.
And the location at MRR was kind of out of the way, there was like one sign posted, kind of a bummer.

I'm here, Madison or Platteville. I'm on my second rx7(feels like the third) this one being an fc, but its put away until the weather gets nicer.
I keep saying I'm going get my heap up to road america for a track day, it'll probably happen eventually.
Garrett, are you running an accusump?

it's great to see so many WI RX fans. while i had a hand in starting the club i am not really a club guy. i am a rotary racing guy. 22 seasons of SCCA Nationals GT3 racing, the last 6 in a tube frame RX3. here's a pic of it running under the lap record at the June Sprints.

here's my FD. i have been re-engineering it as a dual purpose street and road racing car since 99. prior to purchasing it from florida i owned an 83 rx7 for 250,000 miles and a Turbo 2 for about the same miles.

i like doing things my way. here's a recent picture of the engine. i designed and built a two turbo Garrett TO4 setup that should dyno out at 630 rwhp at less than 25 psi boost. on pump gas and methanol.

my newest mod is a complete (beta) FJO methanol injection system combined w FJO's new boost control and wideband. all 3 systems talk and can interact w each other. this replaces my Alkycontrol methanol system that is now old school but worked great. alcohol and turbos are magic. full boost on pump on the street.

i could go on but you get the picture. the purpose of this post is to say hello to all and to make the case that there's lots of good rotary stuff going on in Packerland. speaking of titletown, my favorite tuner guy and shop is in Green Bay. complete w a super duper dyno. Beyond Redline Performance. Luke Stubbs is the go to guy and i will put him up against anyone. (920-498-1223) i did 3 dynos sessions at Beyond Redline this summer and just missed a 4th due to the snow arriving before finishing my FJO setup. oh well.
i build my own engines BTW... my current engine has run 3 summers and is still gaining compression.
look for my car to be ontrack in 08 as well as at the MRR. and while i am a rotary guy i very much appreciate alternate engined rx7s. further, i appreciate the unique qualities of the lightfooted first gens and good looking second gens.
let's keep this thread going as there's lots more cars in wisconsin.

is the shop you mentioned a good place to go for rotary stuff? i have never heard of it.
