Just noticed, im still on the dyno list.

No Dyno tuning for me pleze.

 

Is it likely Steve will finish tuning all of us on Saturday? If not, is the dyno going to be available on Sunday? I assume the guys street tuning will be after the dyno tuned group, is this true?

 

Yes, all the dyno tuning will be done first. Street tuning comes next. I'll update all the information later tonight. I need to eat some supper.

 

oh boy. I need to find a way to mount my tripod in my car.

 

This might be a question I should not ask but where do you do the street tuning?

 

In Belleville, there is a nice long stretch of road that's not patrolled too much.

Im going to sanblast my S5 Turbo wheels and paint them Gunmetal, they will be ready saturday morning for full bling effect.

Any Ideas on when to show up Saturday?

 

People need to show up early since we don't know when Steve will be ready for the next car. Peoples cars might break or just tune faster than others. When this happens, the next car needs to be there and be ready

Everyone needs to make a checklist before Steve Kan arrives. This is what he said in an earlier post.

"Here're some items to inspect/replace before the dyno. New plugs (less than 1k miiles), new fuel filter (less than 5k miles), inspect spark plug wires, oil change, full tank of whatever gas you normally run, inspect tires (no nails or anything that can fly out during the dyno), inspect coolant fluid (change if necessary), clean air filter, put all the mods in that you plan to run before coming to the dyno (I don't think there'll be enough time to install them on the same day)."

Steve arrived. Went out for drinks and such. Funny night. We're going to be at the shop/dyno at 8-8:15am.

 

My car put down 533whp @ 23psi.

good numbers eric, now get that thing to gateway tuesday and show those bitches what a 10 sec rx7 looks like

 

533whp on a dyno dynamics should be around 560 or more on a dynojet, so that's only like 200hp more than me.

Eric, I would defiately prefer atleast 1 hour of dyno time, as opposed to doing 140 on old tires with an illegal plate. Let me know what its looking like with Axis tomorrow. Ill be up around 1030 to go look at a bumper, but depending on what the dyno guy says I may have to do some re-arranging, but I have to go to this open house, which is from 1-3, not 4 as I thought. Well whatever, give me a call.
