DUDE! I'm in Claremore, but don't count on me because I don't even have a car yet.

 

Where are you wanting to meet in OKC, I would be interested after I get mine back together and running.

 

OKC is just about an hour and half away from me (I'm in southern KS) so I might come to this too.

 

i love the line 'when i get mine running,' it so denotes a sense of participation in what would otherwise be drudgery. i also have to finish getting mine up to efi. i know some other normanites would be with it as well.

 

Do you guys know anybody localy who is pretty good with these cars, in case I can't solve the problem at hand? But if and when it is running I would deffinently be down, is that a little more enthusiastic... lol

 

well i don't know how much work you need but i've switched a few engines....

 

I am having problems with the car hesitating under wide open throttle, I think I have narrowed it down to a ignition problem. Next week I am placing an order and I am going to see if I can get this solved. But if I can't figure it out I will get back with you cubandoug1 if you want to help.

I'd be down for coming to an OKC meet if you guys can get a decent crowd. May even be able to get some of the folks here in DFW to make a cruise up there. Keep us informed and if you want to set it up, post in the South forum.
