Well just so you guys know, I wont be able to move into my apartment until the 5th of June, so more than likely I won't be able to move up to MN and make it to the meet on time. I was looking forward for this though.

 

Its all good. Based on the response to the actual event thread who knows if the meet will even still happen

 

I hope you guys have fun. Wish I could join, but I am moving that day.

 

MN meets seem to fall apart all the time. If one gets put together before Aug. I'll try my best to attend. In Aug. I'm headed back to CA and taking the car this time.

 

It didnt so much fall apart as NO ONE responded to the official thread. Everyone in this thread that was all gung-ho for the meet dissapeared as soon as the details went through.

 

dude, i'm not sure what you mean by no one responded. some of us clearly said we'd be there if we didn't have work commitments. did you expect us to post on the thread several times a day?

 

There were 6 or 7 people that said they'd be down work providing including me.

shrykFC3S blew his front rotor and wont be there in his 7 and I'm in the midst of a rebuild myself. I could use help by the way... lol

Anywhos, I'll still plan to be there with or without my 7, depending on when its finished

 

If I can drive up there and make it on the fifth, I should be rested up to meet up with you guys on the 6th. Either way, if you do see a red vert thats me : )

Haha. Wednesday night me and shrykFC3S decided we'd hold the lamest race ever. His FC with one blown rotor, my fb with no motor and an automatic, and our friends FB with the slipping clutch lol

As far as I know its still on for saturday.

 

I'm still going just to meet all of you guys and your cars. so its final then at c- square, andy's shop. well i will try to get my boss to host the next one we're still setting up shop and we just got the dyno today and rotary cars will have a rotary shop to go to from now on. By the way our shop name will be FNR Racing. See i will see you guys there i'll be in the black t2.

 

Any ideas how many RX-7s will be there and if there will be any FDs?

Also what time did you plan on leaving Perkins?

No idea when the Perkins bit is going down. Its really whenever we want for all this stuff. I really wish my car was able to come along but unfortunately I'm about to take out the 18 bolts of utmost importance lol. I'm mostly going just to see all you guys and your cars as well.

 

Hey everyone - I'm in immediate need of a passenger side fender for a FC... anybody have one? My car just got hit in a parking lot and I need to repair it soon. I can pick up this weekend in the twin cities metro and would prefer to get one from somebody local if possible. I may need a PS side head light cover as well, but I won't know that until the body shop tells me if mine is repairable or not...

so i get there at three o'clock even though it rained and stayed around for 30 min or so and still did not see anyone show up. I said i was gonna be there and i did, i walked in c-square and said what up to eric that was busy working cause andy wasn't around. i kind of figured that some of you guys wasn't gonna show cause of the rain but hey i had fun sliding around on the way up there and back, it was still a cool night though. but yeah once the shop gets going we are gonna meet in burnsville, to have a dyno day there, and hope that most of you guys with rx-7's show up. no joke even if it rains.

 

Weak sos! I was there at 3:30 till 4:45, but nobody showed up! Andy and I talked a bit, but geez, a little rain scared you all off? Man, I was hoping to see at least ONE other RX!

On side note... holy crap those VW's water pumps are tiny! I couldn't believe that size of a 1.8T's pump, it was smaller than my fist! Andy had a good laugh when I saw that.
