I am currently attending MSU down in mankato, but at the moment I have been taking a semester off in TX. I'll be heading back up to finish the year this summer, so I will keep an eye on this forum. I'll definetly be interested in joining you guys. Let me know what you think.

By the way, I know some guys in Mankato with V8 RX7's if you want they would be interested I am sure.

How does Calhoun sound to you guys? There is a big parking lot on the north side of the lake I know (across the street from Chipotle and the Noodles and Company) which would be good for meeting up. Its right off Excelsior

 

calhoun is out of the question. rx7's are loud. MPD are ******** and noise violation tickets are expensive.

 

Oooh good point I completely forgot about that. Any other suggestions?

Anyways, by June 6th I should be finishing up the final tune on my holley so I should be down. I'm open to wherever, I'm starting to appreciate the low key look of my car and the especially cop friendly RB exhaust.

 

man just a reminder too though, i'm down to meet up with the rest of you guys but i have a problem, june 6th is also hot import nights in chicago. which a few of my friends were gonna go too. sorry it actually slipped my mind. if i don't go i'll be meeting all of you guys. but i want to be at both. f' me... duluth is a drive and a half. closer to the metro area would be smarter me thinks but ive been real busy lately. keeping my eyes open

 

opus i think is close but im not entirely sure what that is.... a shop would be a good place to meet.

 

Theres like 6 opuses that I know of haha. They're all within about a half hour of downtown though. Which one are you talking about rxracer?

well the rockfalls event i was gonna go too is now postpone, waiting for my parts to come in and my buddys fc is going through its final tuning stages. but hey also working on two fd's at the same time so until my cars done and the fd's, it looks like we might get held back for about a week in a half. so the 169, 62 opus sounds good to me. alot closer for me cause i'm so busy. but hey saw that you guys mentioned rx7's not running, well like i said i do have a rx7 mechanic available that can help out. he's teaching me the ropes as we speak. plus you have to check out his fc its nice minor sunroof cancer but nicer than my all stock running full boost fc. lol i'm serious full boost.

 

Im very interested in meeting this guy... and andrew. i will definatley be dropping by soon. ill give you a call.

 

Good news! We got the 7 going and its now at my house. I'll probably be the owner of it officially in the next week and then im home free.
