Calhoun is always pretty busy though. Thats why I was thinking of medicine lake. Whatever works though. Im liking the idea of a lake cruise

I really think we should just make a date and have ourselves a cook out. The sooner we can set a date the more time people will have to plan accordingly. I'm thinking a saturday in early June? The 6th would be the day after my birthday lol

 

just pick a date, pick a place, and everything else is easy. Someone just take charge. I would but I am nowhere near the cities and i doubt any of you would come up to fargo.

Depends on the date. My summer is filling up very fast. But we have quite a few rx7 guys up here that could possibly come down.

So far we have this SOB beat! We are supposed to have another crest within the next week so I am not going to speak too soon. My aunt and uncle lost their place and I have head quite a few people lost their basements but not very many within the city limits. Is it bad? No, it just took alot of work and commitment from the whole city. Our Mayor has done an outstanding job. He has made all the right calls.

Hey guys. I've been quite the long time forum lurker, but I have a tendency to only pop in here a few times every few monthes.

Anyway, If it sounds like this june 6th meetup will happen I'd be happy to stop in. My 7 might not be much to look at but I'd be proud to give it the company it deserves.

 

Dont worry, Mine will be bone stock. Just as long as we get a good turn up we'll still turn heads no doubt

I'm in brainerd and always at BIR, so I could set a date if a few of you guys wanna show up. Only problem is drag racing at BIR is always on wednesday nights.

 

I wouldnt want to race though. Its my daily driver, dont wanna trash it haha. That and its auto so it would be hopeless down the strip lol

 

lol, i'm down with ya'll. plus i got a buddy who also has a 7 willing to join. plus he's a passionate rotary mechanic. were going to rockfalls on the 19th of april. you don't have to run your car just watch his represent for the fc family and any rotary in general. but yeah name the place we'll be there. also got a friend with a fd who might go also.

 

I'm thinking it would be best to meet somewhere near the metro. Most of us guys are within like 20 minutes of downtown it looks like.

 

Racing does nothing to trash you car that you wouldn't do on a pull on the highway, unless you really launch it hard. You mean to say that you won't drive your rx7 for a 1/4 full throttle? If so you've got the car for the wrong reason man. My rx7 is my DD too, but that doesn't mean I can't have fun with it.

Room for parking is guaranteed. Grills I'm not sure on. I'll double check this weekend when I'm at home getting my car! =D

I might drive down. Maybe us grand forks/fargo guys (and girls?) can all head down the same time. Def turn heads with a bunch of 7's cruising to the cities. Though No exhaust might be an issue...

 

Could get ya in trouble at calhoun, the only place they enforce sound restrictions lol.

So how does june 6th at noon sound? I figure that way you northerners wont have to get up too early for the trek to the cities. Now we need a place. Where do ya'll think?

I think rockfalls is a good place to meet up at. We can actaully sit back bbq or what ever and watch cars run. Me and my buddies did that the last time we went. Too bad I was the only rx7 there
