Yeah, that was fun, despite the rain. Sunday weather was 1000% nicer. But I was only able to shave 3/10 off my saturday time.

I won't be able to make it on the 28th but keep this post updated on other events and I'll see what I can do to make it.

 

Please feel free to post info here. I usually promote these events pretty heavily (I run the red 1st gen #98 in Furrin events), but since I'm in the process of having a tumor removed from my chest (benign, thank God) I haven't been involved in much else lately. Thanks for covering in my absence.

 

I just bought some dunlop star specs for the 2, no more all seasons for me! I wont be at the MSU because I'll be working on the tow rig, got to get her ready for a beach party.

 

I heard there is an autocross in conjunction with the National Hotrod scene in Muskegon Michigan June 2nd or 3rd. Check Furrin.org for info, or maybe www.myautoevents.com

yeah I couldnt make it though, had relatives in from out of town that weekend, and the grand prix.

 

Allendale Michigan, 2 day event. July 14th/15th. Might do a campout/race/party thing that weekend if anyone is interested...

I want to go, but I doubt I can make it. Trying to convince my dad to give it a try so I can split the costs of going to Lansing with him is proving difficult.

And going by myself for just a few hours on Sat isn't worth it IMO.

I will most likely be at both autox events, but not sure if I'll have the 7 at both or not. If I do go to the RallyX, I'll just be spectating, but it looks like there are already a couple other RX7's signed up.

There is a autcross event every year in Oscoda michigan, on the old air force base, i have never found any info on it, but i see it when it happens, i would like to try my hand at auto cross but have no idea how to get involved. sorry for bumpping such a old thread

 

Hey, no problem. I've been to that event before, several years back, and had a blast. Nice three day events up there. You can probably find information on it at www.myautoevents.com

I will have my RX7 at the oscoda autocross events this year. july 17-20 and august 15-17th. Should be fun, last year i drove by and there was hundreds of cars, I just gotta figure out how to get involved in what ever club is putting it on, (scca) see you all out there
