The 6th annual NOS Energy Drink's IMPORT FACE-OFF will be at KCIR on Sunday, May 3rd from 11am to 6pm . $6000+ in cash and trophies will be awarded to car show and race contestants. Activities will include: car/truck/bike show, 1/4 mile drag racing, Hot Body contest, Usaci Stereo crank it up contest, burnout contest, DJs, vendors, giveaways, etc. FREE competition vouchers are given to contestants who travel from 200+ miles away (must preregister to receive free pass). We need help passing out fliers. If anyone would like to help, please email your name and mailing address to hybridentertainment78@yahoo.com Promoters are assigned a number and are paid on commission, $2 for every flier that comes in with your number on it. Spectators bring in the fliers because of the $2 off admission coupon. Checks are mailed out within a week after the event. The program pays well if you get enough fliers out. There are successful, repeat promoters every year at every location.

I checked the results on their site. has him listed as runner up AGAIN. a Mitsubushi beat him with 9.516 145.79mph they did not list his time,just put broke... runner up is $200 and winner in a full class is $2000.

He didn't run due to shaking of the flywheel on the semi-final pass. When to toke the tranny out (same night) he found out the key that hold the flywheel was cut almost half way. Lucky he chose to take the safe way than risking damage and injury. Remember the car ran 9.23 at 36psi and had breakup issue at 8k. He ran 9.8 on 30psi that he let off at around the 1/8mile with no ignition break up issue.

Rumor that the eclipse guy saying poncho(blue rx2) was scare that is why he didn't run is just BS.
