A few weeks back i saw a very nice blue RX7 in Madison, WI. It's plate number was a Wisconsin one and it said "RX7". I was just wondering if the guy is a member here?

If he is ... I'm the girl driving the blue Infiniti G35. We kind of cruised down the beltline for quite sometime

 

Do you go by the same name on ChicagoZ.com? If so, I am part owner of CJ-motorsports and am on ChicagoZ quite a bit. I havn't been to any meets yet hopfully once charles gets his car running I will go to one.

Sorry, I don't have any info on that blue 7 though.

 

Never seen any 7 in Madison with RX7 on the plate. Which Gen was it?

 

according to my limited mazda knowledge i think it is a 2nd generation. I tried taking a few pictures of him with my phone so i will try to upload those soon. He also had chrome wheels i remember that. It was a younger guy driving probably mid 20s, and it seemed like it was a custom color ... really nice blue!

 

yes i go by the same name on ChicagoZ. I also get to go on almost every meet they organize, it is a lot of fun ... u should definitely come by one day.

 

Sorry then, never seen any FCs around with a custom Blue paint job, just alot original faded blue.

Just a thought, was it on the West or East side, cause I see alot more 7s on the West.

 

It was on the west side, he was pulling out of some small streeet into McKee (PD) and then he passed verona road, while i turned there, and in about 1 min a saw him approaching me fast (he apparently made a U turn and came after me). then he followed me down to the beltline and followed me almost until i got on 90.

I found the pic on my camera, it is not real clear but i will post it later since i dont have bluetooth at work.

 

When is the next meet?

I don't post much on ChicagoZ, but I do go by the same name there also.

 

oh wow that is a sweet ride. there is a black RX7 same gen as your that lives a block away from my parents in Arlington Hts, i bump into him all the time. very nice cars. by the way here is what i drive: G35

anyway i guess no one knows that blue RX7 guy i still have to get the pic off of my phone, and in the meantime i pass by i will keep my camera in the car while driving around madison, just in case i see him again.

 

Why do you want to find whop he is so bad?

 

I'm always curious in meeting new Rx7 owners, but I've never met someone who doesn't drive an rx7 want to meet one.

Your ride is very clean, I think those rims look killer for stock. Now you just need to drop it and put some forced induction on it.

 

well i do believe i live in an area with a strong lack of real car enthusiasts. the only nice cars i see here are G35 sedans and a few RX8s. and this guy's car was really standing out i have to admit.

i'm generally interested in meeting anyone that shares my interest in cars.

 

yeah i love the rims. my car didnt come with them it came with the stock 18s which also looked ok but once i saw the 2005 coupe come out with those 19s i fell in love with them immeditately.

i'm currently reconsidering if i should keep my car or not so i'm not going to do anything to it at least for now.
