well im still for sure going. i get off of work at 12 then im heading straight there from the airport.

 

ugh... so went to drive the RX to work this morning and my clutch went out... i have a friend giving me his old exedy clutch and im gonna try and drop the tranny and work on it tonight or tomorrow night no guarantess though... if not ill be coming in a white sonoma haha

 

damn that sucks man! this past week i have been trying to be easy on my car so i don't break anything before the meet lol.

 

i will probly show up on the 6th sry i was hoping for lawrence meet but ok i met brent today when i was picking up parts for one of my 7s its a rad cap by the way sounds like its going to be fun sry ill try to be out on the 6th though guys have fun ....does any one have a grey or balck or blue anything beside the red stuff interior they want to get rid of ?

 

haha ya man im with a friend and were ripping of the tranny tonight and im trying to get the clutch on tomorrow, im taking off work so that i can put it on cuz i really wanna be there haha then again i work at quik trip so they can suck it up, hopefully ill have it done!

welp, at least i can say i was there lol. i got on to midland dr at 1:30 and it took me about 30 more minuets to find the god damn park . so i get to shelter 8 and no one is there

i stayed there for like 10 mins till this guys came up to me and asked me if i was looking for the other 7's. then he said you guys were butt hurt and left because he parked his truck some where blah blah blah.

well at least i made it to the meet spot this time lol, hopefully on the 6th i wont be so late lol.

o and i took some pics and i will post them when i get home.

 

Around 2 or so we cruised around for a bit, went to shelter 10 for some shade, chatted some more, then left. We'll get a plan formulated for the 6th and have a better setup, bigger turnout. Sorry to have missed you, man. I didn't have my camera this time, but there are pictures coming from others. I'll be starting a new thread for the 6th early this week with definitive plans. Hope to see all there.

I wish I could have made it. I dropped the insurance on my truck and couldn't get ahold of my insurance agent to get a new policy. The last thing I need right now is to get in an accident without insurance. I'm calling my agent tomarrow for sure. I'll be there on the sixth.

By the way, if anyone needs anything powder coated just let me know. I do my own powder coating and have all the equipment to sandblast parts and coat them.

Also, Trey/OE, is it better to go out to KCIR on Wednesdays or Fridays? To whomever didn't attend: Besides the event on the 6th, the idea of making some rotary VS. rotary runs on the KCIR strip was brought up. I don't know a whole lot of details other than that they hold two events every week: Wednesday Night Grudge and Friday Fun Drags. Whichever would let us get a few runs to heads-up one another would be super. Anyone interested in heading that way this week or the next? Any enlightenment on the events themselves would be splendid, as well.

 

ugh not yet man, does anybody know any tricks of how to get it on because ive had so much freaking trouble with this thing!

 

Did you pull the tranny without the motor? If you did then put a floor jack under the engine and remove the nuts from the engine mounts and lift the engine off the mounts. Make sure to use a piece of wood where the floor jack touches the oilpan. This wil give you a little wiggle room. Be very carefull with the radiator. Might also want to remove the fan to give it some more room.

Not yet. I'm in the process of writing it up, and will try to post it up today/tonight. I was down at the shop late last night, in addition to trying to acquire a third FC the last few days. A cruise will definitely happen, as well as food. Toss out any and all output you have towards this next event. Post it wherever you can. I've already PM'd just about everybody from the KS 7's thread in addition to the Mokanmotorsports board.
