Forecast says AM rains. Rest of the day should be nice.

I say a little rain never hurt anyone. I will be there at 5.

Good times, sans the wind. I'd ask for pictures, but there were so few cars, I can re-imagine it too easily for them to be of use. Hank says we're doing Sadler's again next weekend, I'll let him throw up a new post or thread with a date/time. See y'all there!

Big Oops.

Sorry I didn't make it there guys. I had a fuel problem 11 miles east of Manhattan, I ran out. I must have bumped the dial getting it in because it was reading above empty. That's what I get for trusting the gauge, had to sit on the side of the road for a few hours until some friends in Manhattan could come help.

That sucks hard, I for one was really hoping to see another first gen at the meet. Hell, another SA22 would have been a real treat. But alas, outnumbered by the FD's again...

Yeah, I was pretty disappointed. I did burn up a relay by McPherson, no problem just wired past it (WHEN am I ever going to learn the KISS principle). The car was running pretty well, oil pressure and temperature were holding great. My suspension and steering sucks and the brakes still aren't quite right. I guess that's to be expected from a car that was sitting 10-20 years. When it started to spit and sputter, then quit, I was a little peeved. I thought it was the fuel pump. I pulled the fuel line and I couldn't get it to do anything but spit a little fuel, even when I ran the bypass wire. I was still sitting by the side of the road at 5PM and wishing I was there. Being out of gas was much cheaper, but my ego is a bit bruised and I'll never hear the end of it.
