For stuff short of an engine overhaul, I go to expert auto center on 13th st. They have done a bunch of work to my fc. They are honest and good at what they do. Just my 2cents.

Yo dudes, looking to pick up a black s5 pass. fender somewhere close to Lawrence, KS, got forced into a curb and pulled the front in a bit needing a replacement. Keep me in mind if you run across any. Thanks.

I checked through the salvage search at my work and found one black one. It's probably a little to far away, but shipping shouldn't be to bad, I bet metro courier would do it.

For what its worth.

I've probably driven farther for less, but shipping does sound nice. I'll give them a call, thanks!

I'd be down... but I have to be honest with you. Last summer when I got my second FC I tried to get a meet together. I E-mailed everyone I could find on here with a KS or MO tag a month to a couple weeks early. Three of us showed up. Hank (raindog) and Curtis (13betc). I've probably been a part of 10-15 meets in the Kansas area since I got my RX-7's and half of those have just been the three of us. I would love to be proved wrong though that's why I've kept trying. I would just say if you do to it, do it in a few months advance so that hopefully people can stick with their scheduling. Like I said though, I'm always down for a meet.

I'm always down for a meet. Kc is probably as far as I want to drive. That's still a few hours from home (I'm in Salina KS). As long as it sounds like there will be a decent turnout and I don't have to work I'll be there. My Fd is capable of making the trip, the fc is having the engine ported and rebuilt so she won't see any action for a few months.

^This one looks familiar. Oh right... its mine, haha.

Pretty good turnout this year, it was warm and there was no shortage of cars in the car show and drag race. See you all next year, maybe I'll put something in the car show then

Hey guys. In case you missed import face off in Wichita last Friday I snapped a few pics. I didn't see any FBs or FCs, just this green FD and I think I saw a grey colored FD in the car show. The program got cut short because of a really bad accident, but hopefully we we still have another IFO later this year or next spring.

Sup everybody just joining the group fresh from Korea. I am a Army guy stationed out at Ft. Riley near Junction City and Manhattan. I own a 76 Cosmo but's still at a friends shop back in Cali. I will be in the market for a decent Repu and not a project once I return from Iraq next year.

Welcome back! I'm out of the rotary game right now but I think it might be fun to get a meet going again. When do you think you will have your Cosmo up here?

Sounds good. It might be spring before I do anything rotary wise. I had to sell my fc, and I'm getting the FD's engine rebuilt over the winter. I'm just "down the street" from you in Salina. What did you have? An FC?

THREAD RESURRECTION! Import face off is in Topeka, KS this year on April 9th. Anyone down for a caravan of rotaries to roll in together?

If you don't know what it is, import face off is a car show & drag race. I haven't been at an event in Topeka before, but the one in Wichita is always eventful. Lots of imports, a handful of domestics, some food, a few vendors, lots of burning rubber

They are not having any more events in Wichita. Last year a guy died while racing at IFO and they had to cancel the show and drag races. I just moved to Wichita and now there will be no IFO this year

I was there for that. Tragic. I'm sad they won't have it in Wichita anymore but I understand why. I'm equidistant from Topeka as to Wichita so I guess it really isn't a big deal for me to drive to Topeka instead. Hopefully a few rotor heads will show up.
