I spotted a red fd today with burnout front bumper and 60 day tags. Does it belong to anyone in here? Looks pretty good!

How many FD's in wichita?

 

I can't say I know who that is. I know someone with a red fd but not from Wichita. There is a handful of FD guys in wichita but not many. I'm from Salina myself, so I rarely am in Wichita but every once in a while I'm there in my montego blue fd

 

Anyone going to the moonlight car show in wichita on Saturday? I'm taking my fc and my dad is taking his fd. It would be cool to see some others around there.

 

If we can talk another rx or two into going I would be willing to make the trip from salina in my fd. My fd isnt show worthy but my fc is in a million pieces.

 

Well everyone, you still have time to register. It would be really cool to have a rotary corner. I know of three total that will be be in the show. A sa, a fc and a fd. We will be parking between 1st and 2nd st on mead.

I just moved to junction city kansas not very many rotaries in this area just rx8s I have an 84 gsl

 

I'm going to try and get there pretty early because I got my rx7 and then I have to go back and get my conquest. I don't know if I'll have time to meet up before hand. If anyone wants me to save some spots I can. I'll be on mead st. In front of the tornado sculpture my dad made.

Is that parking in the car show or outside of it? I can try to make it beforehand but I'm not sure when that will be. Tentatively save a spot for my fd

The gates to the show open at 4, and that's about the time I'm planning to get there. If someone gets there earlier they should save about four spots. I'm going to be in the show, but if you wanted to come you can enter your car at the gate. I think it's like $30 at the gate. I pre registered so I'm not sure what it is at the gate. There is a parking garage just a block east of mead st.

So far I know of four that are or might be coming.

One of my dad's buddies also has a sa, but he has a spot that he parks every year so he most likely won't park with us.

Yea, I think I can count on one hand how many FD's I've seen in wichita since I moved here in 2004. Got pics of your montego blue?

 

That's my FD and a photo of my fc for laughs. Fc is being torn apart at the moment (t2 swap). My fd isn't too special, mostly stock with a small amount of bolt ons and reliability upgrades.

 

Looks like I am free the rest of the day.

I can meet up beforehand. Where and when do you want to meet? Is there a gas station or store with a decent size parking lot nearby we can meet up at?

I don't even see 8s out this way. I have the feeling I'm the only dingaling into rotaries around the Great Bend area. I never see a rotary powered vehicle unless they're just passing through.

Where do you guys go to for regular maintenance work, in wichita? I have some stuff I would like done that requires equipment I don't have. Just wondering who you all go to for anything you need done.
