Here's another newbie to the area (not to rotaries though)...
Dang, It seems like there was a pretty good crowd in the Kansas City area, but they all kinda moved or quit... I see there's quite some activity going on not so far from the area, but with the gas the way it is, I would like to know who all the rotary freaks live within 50 miles of the Kansas City area to start something again!

Yeah! It feels good to have a wankel unde my hood again... After I sold my RX8 it life wasn't the same... Specially when all I have ever driven and owned besides an M3 (Great vehicle) and a Jetta 1.8t (piece of $#!+) is FB's and FC's!

Well instead of racing yourself and the clock in AutoX, there are 2 lanes of the same course set up but mirroring each other, and you race the other driver to finish first.

Okay so we'll plan on that being the weekend then. Does Sunday work with you guys?
I was thinking Kauffman Legacy Park? I'm open for suggestions, don't get me wrong.
Its a really cool place to enjoy a little later in the evening, like maybe 7 - 830, with the July heat especially. The parking lot is bomb and its in the city, i dunno if its closer for some people or not. Does something along those lines work?

Hi guys, nother Kansan noob here! I dont have a car yet but may pickup an 88 10th ann. car this weekend! It will need work otherwise, id be at mirror-khana for sure. 50% of the reason for me getting an FC is to go autocross! Some of you guys should come to the SCCA autocross in Yoder and have some fun!

Another FD owner checking in... autocrosser as well. Probably won't be racing the FD at all this year though. Racing F125 in a shifter kart this season.
I'd be down to meet up in late June/July as well. Sundays are typically the only day that work for me, though.

I haven't seen it in person yet but pretty sure its coming home with me! I need to get info on what I need to do to it.
Perhaps next year for mirrorkhana? Less they do another. But hell or high water, its gonna be autocross'ed this year! The next one is at Strother Field in Winfield, the Porsche club is using our normal location at Yoder but after that we have Yoder back.
I'll have a chat with my friends, we may head up to salina to watch and race there stuff.
