Just got back form Busch Gardens.

Was pretty awsome and was free (Military).......... we got to ride tons of rides and had a quick que so got to jump in front of everyone in line......

LOL nothing like being buzzed and going on a roller coaster!

Apollo's Chariot and the Griffin were the two best roller coasters i've been on before.

 

engine is gonna come out of the FC this week/weekend so hopefully i can can have it on the road without needing a man-pon for this meet

ian- you have any painted parts for me man? i got those rims for ya to PC too but if your busy ill just spray them to hold me over...

I dont think the guy in charge of this meet (steve) decided on a time. I mean, it was his idea to have it in the QC.

I'm in charge of this meet? Holy **** that's news to me... I just suggested to have it down here for a change since we never had a meet in the qc.

It really doesn't matter what time to me i'm cool with any time.

Most likely I'll make the trip with Blade since I don't have anything nice to bring besides the girlfriend's Civic and most of you won't really care about it anyways. At least then I'll be in a RX-7 for a RX-7 meet. lol Anybody wondering about not bringing the 5.0 Vert Mustang - we sold it last year in September. I most likely won't have to work that Saturday but if I do I'll make sure that I take it off - I've worked the past 4 or so Saturdays so the boss owes me it off.

ok, i just called them and i was going to make reservations... just to be on the safe side so we all get a seat together. they have to take a credit card number so in case we dont show the waiter that they call in will get 100 bucks.
i dont mind doing this... but how many people are going to try to make it ?
i will have me my wife and 3 kids...
want to get this all squared away before it gets much closer.
if anyone would rather it be later then 12:30-1pm let me know so we can make proper reservations. the reservation dosent cost anything but bailing does.

Anyways, I'm fine with that meet time. If we have it too late then things can get complicated - people not knowing where to go in the dark, getting into the Bettendorf hood accidently, etc. lol As long as Blade is going I'll be going for sure. Like I said, I should have that day off and if not, I'll get someone else to take over.

 

the GF and i were gonna catch an imax movie in town before the meet, but we can go after also. Count me in for sure.

ok guys im going over there saturday when i get the chance so i can see what this beer garden is. they have some beer tour going on and you get a shirt when you drink 10 beers or something.
basically if we get the beer garden we will have a whole area to ourselves so i guess that means we can be obnoxious as we so desire.
they have a buffet for like 9-10 dollars or we can all go in on some pizza together.
