Also, on Sunday, we are holding the last SCCA National of the year before the Runoffs. There will be over 300 of the top SCCA Club Racers entered from all over the country, Puerto Rico, and Canada. Spectators are allowed in for free at the National (I'm not sure about the TransAm race). I'll be racing my FB as the final tune up before the big race in October.

If anybody is coming out, stop by the garages and say hi. My car is the white #18 1st gen.

I didn't make it. I spent Friday night in the ER and the rest of the weekend doped up on pain pills.

That sucks! I hope everything is going to be OK.

It was awesome to see those big, fast cars hustling around the track in 1:35! They were bouncing off their rev limiters as they were cresting the hill at alpha. I'm guessing they were at 170 mph at the crest, and they wouldn't hit the brakes for turn 1 until they were about 100 feet down the backside of the hill.

One funny note on the weekend:
There were 3 TransAm teams from Puerto Rico there. After I won the SCCA National on Sunday, the crew from Jorge Diaz, Jr's team all came over to congratulate me and insisted upon having pictures of themselves taken with me and my 1981 RX-7 racecar. I thought it was funny that a group of guys crewing for a 1st class TransAm Jaguar team thought my FB was cool. Rotary powered race cars must be really popular down there.

NIce...

Congrats on the win. Wish I would have been a bit more up-to-date on the board here, I would have made it out for the race(s).
Keep posting when there's happenings, we'll check up and make it out for some fun.
