Anybody in St. Louis with 3rd gen RX-7?

Hi!

I'm looking for interesting weekend car and seems like this is what I need. I've been to the forums, read all FAQ's, etc..

The problem is - I don't even know where to look at this car.

Will appreciate if somebody can meet with me (STL) and let me test drive their car. I will buy you lunch

Based on my impressions I will decide if I really want to buy car like that.

TIA

There is a 93 advertised in the Post Dispatch and here in the 3rd gen for sale section. It is located in St. Charles. The motor only has 10k on it. It is an automatic. Very good price.

If you want an automatic, you probably should check it out before it's gone.

I will sell you mine. Not for 10,000 though. 1,000 miles on the rebuild, t-78 single turbo set up, reliable, good for about 50,000 miles. I have pictures.

What about being nice
Instead of "buy mine" say something like "Sure, you can try my car."

You guys should learn how to be sales people

Why don't you go find one at a dealer and test it out, then you can come and buy one of the modded ones....

There is a red stock one for sale in arnold... it's a 95 i believe and it's been for sale for a while now... I'm sure they'll let you drive it...

Thanks for the info.
Is that a dealership in Arnold? Which one?
I live in Ballwin, it's pretty close.

I don't know the name of it... i just know how to get there... If you take Lemay ferry over towards Arnold, you'll pass the 141 intersection and then up the hill and i'll say it's probably a mile south from the 141 on the right side... He has some other sports cars there as well...

Well, they're 15 year old vehicles. What do you expect?

Well.. I have 93' Audi S4. Nothing wrong with the car cosmetically and everything works. No broken switches with wires coming out and such things.. Yes, paint is dull and seat bolsters weared out a little, but it's still all solid.

I expect car I will buy to be at least 100% functional with no broken parts. And looks like the ones that go for 15k do meet my expectations. But not that one

For 15K you should be able to purchase a fairly nice FD. Did you call the guy in St. Charles?
His is stock. I believe most of us on the Forum in the St. Louis area have modified cars. There can be a significant difference in power amd torque throughout the rpms not to mention handling due to suspension/wheels etc.

I believe Lupe will be setting up another tuning session. That may be a good opportunity for you to at least ride in a few different FDs.

I will be looking at the one in St. Charles tomorrow. I'm not fun of automatics, but I will look at it as long as it's clean all around

Your car makes less power than stock twins with bolt ons.

doesn't change the fact that a healthy car with twins would eat your car a new *******.
