this is my normal sleep schedule too, but i have to be up at 6 a.m. for work today and i cant sleep! lol ive been doing this a lot lately and it sucks!

well back from the weekends adventures! all i gotta say is oh my god if get on one track in this entire area get on road america, that place is insane!!! had a blast. ill get some pics and maybe even some in car video up in a few days.

car came back still alive for once, which is a nice change of pace finally. couple of sets of brake rotors, one set of pads, and one blown caliper later i made it back with the only issue being trying to pull the car down from 160 mph to 50 mph several times a lap destroying my brakes..... did i mention road america is effin awesome

 

sounds like its time to upgrade to some cross drilled/slotted rotors??? didn't i mention that?? lol, good to her rob, hope to be up that way soon

 

In what way would a drilled/slotted rotor be an upgrade? Unless you like bling and cracks...

well slotted is definitely being considered. that would greatly help get the gases and heat away from the pads (pad overheating being my biggest isuue right now) as far as drilled goes im up in the air on that right now. some people swear by them and many others say they just crack. ill prob try a set down the road just for my own piece of experimentation...... right now i just gotta improve my ducting to get more air and switching to a pad that is better for little higher heat levels.

im from the fort so no special trip required, was just saying i wasnt gonna be out of town racing. but i got your number ill try and get ahold of you soon. i work second shift and im gone a fair amount racing so its hard to find time to get around to get stuff. ill be gone this weekend racing the fc so dont know when i can get that from ya unless i can get it during the day sometime during the week???
