Hey guys, I've got a buddy with a 13B-REW for sale; out of a 93 FD. It ran when it was pulled, but it's been sitting for several years. Didn't know if any of you rotor freaks were interested.

you might want to put details what all is for sale or is it just a engine and no accessories. i take it theres now going to be an fd subject to a v8 swap now?

It's complete, top to bottom, turbos, transmission, harness (not sure if that's complete) intake, ECM, accessories, etc.

I heard a rumor about an upcoming turbocharged 370" forged LS1 swapped FD. Not sure if they're true or not...

So anyone going to be around this weekend? I've got my nitrous bottle at Hires getting filled up, and I want another go at that Evo with my nitrous on.

I might be interested in that 13B-REW...
Depending on how much he wants for it...I'm kind of debating it since it's been sitting for YEARs...
Maybe the tranny too if it's cheap.

And I should be able to get you that rematch with my cuz's evo this weekend...He's ALWAYS down to race
You should be able to slaughter him with the squeeze...

He wants a rematch with Ben...one of the many silver camaro's out there...

He wants to re-run Kaboom? You know... that's a 615 RWHP car, right? Capable of mid/high 10s.

I just found out I have a bent front wheel (tried to get it aligned), that's what was shaking my steering wheel. I've got new wheels on order, hopefully they'll be here before the weekend.

How'd it get bent..?
You been drifting doughnuts around cars at random intersections again?

But yeah...He still wants to race both of you again for sure...

DK,

They're 17x8 +35 front and 17x9 +35 rear. About as big as will fit under stock fenders if I recall.

The rears are perfect (roundness wise) the front right is good, the front left has a slight bend. It's repairable, but they're heavy, and old, and I want new ones.

If you want them, how about 100 bucks for all 4, no tires (I'm moving them to the new wheels). I know the bent one can be fixed for ~150 bucks, 250 total for 4 good TSWs isn't a bad deal I think.

On second thought, I'll take 99 dollars + a 20 ounce Mt. Dew. Even better deal for me...

PM received and replied.

I"m not sure how it was bent. I've always had a slight vibration in the front, but it got worse after a rebalance recently. I don't think they bent the wheel at Discount doing the balance or anything, just having a hard time getting the balance good enough to not shake my wheel and annoy me. It's not really that bad (been driving it this way for 9k miles...) but it's enough to aggrevate me.

I also dropped an inch in width up front (17x7 +38 ET) on the new wheels, to bring the sidewall up a bit and even it out more front/rear; should also nab me a tiny bit more ground clearance too. The new rears are the same as the old ones, 17x9 +35 ET); and they're gold, just like the olds ones... and 5 spoke... just like the old ones... I guess I'm not very creative.

My new wheels are in the mail now, they -might- be here Friday, but probably Monday/Tuesday, so I'll have to go Evo hunting next weekend.

Hello Ft. Wayne guys! We are thinking about setting up a small rotary meet in Indy sometime, possibly 10/11/08. Just a fun get together before winter sets in. If any of you guys would be interested please chime in.

I lost compression on the rear rotor. Raced a Mustang....long story. So I kinda had to get rid of it sooner or later. I also needed a car with rear seat for my 2yr old. Can't complain about my Honda though. 30mpg and 200+hp.

I will always be a rotor head. If anybody sees a white Civic Si hatchback honking at ya it's me saying wasup

On another note. Does anybody hangout anywhere where you can park your car and not get harassed in Ft. Wayne by cops? Be nice to get together with you guys and just b/s about cars.

David
