I thought the Savannah was a 12a turbo powered first gen. I've never heard of any other Infini's other than the Infini III and the Infini IV. Both of those are second gens with stiffer suspension, a bit more power out of a 13b turbo, and a bit of exterior tweaks (wheels and body panels or something).

I prefer a girl who has the experience to work her keagle muscles over a girl who is just tight. As fun as just pounding away can be, I hate dead *****, and I detest girls who aren't willing to get kinky as hell because they are just starting to have sex.

But then again, I don't know how much you learned about me and my sexual past Saturday night, but its definitely not pretty. Girls definitely go through a lot of abuse having sex with me.

im not going into the whole keagle thing here..

anyway..

think of it this way..

Infini is to Mazda as Infinity is to Nissan, and lexus is to toyota.

It is simply Mazda's"luxury" division..
there are infini version of about every car... in the Mazda Line..

Savannah refers to the RX-7.
in Japan, it isn't called an RX-7.

it is refered to as an FC... and badged, and named "savannah" as were the RX-3...

I hate to use this example.. but here we call talons and eclipses... "DSM"
where as in Japan, they would call the Savannah (base model-ish RX-7) and the Infini (lux version..) "FC"

can anyone tell me a "Capella" is???

i hope that post makes some sense...

The boinger version of an RX2 is called a Capella, the benefits of an Australian mispent youth.

Kagels rock, any chick too lazy to exercise them is going to be lazy in bed....

jeff

no light is needed

and Frankly, jeff, I think you should take this RX-7 in a different direction than you were planning...
as hard as it will be...

I think you should listen to me... (as i usually do... because.. there is reason for it)....

I think you should not ******* touch the car.

Buy it
change the plugs, and trans and diff fluid, change the oil and oil filter and fuel filter...
then LEAVE it
don't touch the exhaust, intake, battery box..

is it 5-lug???
if so, drain the brake fluid, bleed, refill, bleed..
\install good pads...

get good wheels, get good tires...
continue to drive it

essentially, replace things with proper parts as required.... otherwise dopn't mess with it..
just drive it...

well that was my plan for the winter, i was alreayd gonna do all that stuff, but come spring time i am gonna prolly do a straight TII swap with a good suspension, i know what way i wanna take this car but im in no rush with it, drive it daily winter and such and then when the geo is back up on top again then i can slowly do things to this 7, need to keep it running good so when i move it can be driven to SC and then after that i would prolly buy another FC there to daily drive

Just out of curiosity, Chuck, why do you think he should keep the exhaust stock?

no stock exhuast here, i want the apexi N1 like dereks, maybe some JIC suspensions parts new bushings everywhere, and then after that maybe i can track down a running TII engine and tranny and such and just do a straight swap for now unless i have a small and i mean just a minor port done on it, dont want any crazy power just enough, and paint o yes this car shall look so cute with a new paint job, and find some nice wheels and such

NG,
I am sick of seeing people wrench on cars FOR NO REASON.
especially in Jeff's case, I think people should follow my aforementioned suggestion..
what exhaust do you have on your FB>???

So you want N1 exhaust?? why because it looks neat???
Please don't rice another RX-7.....

and why waste your time with a straight TII swap?? there is so much extra work involved in that than reasonable..
the TII were the most rediculous RX-7 in terms of reliability and excess stupidity envolved to make it work...
would you like me to SPEC an FC.. how I would do it.... after building a couple dozen..???

oh, and why JIC suspension???

( you know I have to be your devils advocate here, this is the chassis I know better than any other, and I'll be damned if I let a friend build one with out knowing all the pros and cons... )

On the white FB you saw at the drag strip it has Racing Beat road race headers with straight pipes into a random muffler. I bought it like that, though. My other FB still has stock exhaust with a replacement muffler. Oh well. Neither are running anymore.

^^ well when you are ready for the optimal exhaust set-up.. let me know.. we'll talk..
IMHO ROB's FB exhaust is the best out there...

My RX-3 exhaust was the same..
Steve's is similar, although it uses a smaller expansion chamber to help harness fuel economy..

well when i had my last FC i had no help from anyone, id like to make this car how i want it, ya the n1 does look neat so what, its not rice, im not looking for all power, i want a nice daily driver, and if it takes me a while to figure out how o well, through time i will gain experince, not to be rude cause i do appricate the advice but i want to pick the parts i want, tahts why i throw up a few ideas on here to see what people thing not what others think i should do with everything else. I have been looking into JIC and Tein, this isnt gonan be a track car, i want a car that when i take to SC can cruise those roads.

So this is where id like to take this whole topic, i would love advice when i bring stuff up, i know you have been doing this for a while chuck but i need to grow my own wings and try stuff out, dont want you to take offense to that and when i ask for help i would really like to get some because sometimes it is much needed.

I would love to know a good color to paint this car, i want white but what white? I need to call JIC and Tein and see what their suspesion offers are like i want something stiff but as a daily car i want something with a nice ride. Exhuast is still up in the air i like the look of the apexi and since power isnt a must for me then thats prolly what ill go with unless i find something else i like, wheels not sure yet, brand called sportmax has some nice gold 5 spoke with a silver lip might do that, tires hankook duh and too all you that will be left in fort wankel i can run the ventus rs2s all year round ha, prolly want to redue the intior with some fresh stock carpet might need some advice on how to go about that, i want a comfortable race seat also,

so didnt wanna offend anyone on here just kinda wanna do it myself, my first fc went know where, grand total of 50 miles of me driving it ha, so this one shall be a good task, i will appricate all the help i can get just please let me kinda decide where i wanna take this car.

Thumbs down

I'll tell you, derek, your RX-7 was pretty quick, but it had nowhere near 250hp.
maybe 190-200 at the most..

the N1 is a nice set-up.. but not optimal for N/A

Jeff, you are a friend of mine, and I am not going to create any bad blood over an antiquated car.

and ofcourse I'm going to take offence to your ignorance.

its your car.. and you'll do what you want...
and it will sit in the garage...

It was a good thing I took my hiatus from the RX-7 community.
so here I go again.

I've had my FD for nearly five years and from day one it's always been about sticking together and taking down the rest of the market by what ever means to which the owner of the ride feels. I feel in some ways Chuck does because the 7 scene is becoming a little over crowded with modded out cars, but it is what it is. Speed feels good. If a friend's gonna lay down the greens for a new part you gatta let them do their thing. Good luck with it J.
