Ft Wayne IN Rotor social club's next meet
not gonna lie, my reaction time is ****, my timeslips are at home though and i'm in the sandbox now. the cars i'm facing in wichita falls tx (where my apartment is) are mostly built vettes and mustangs though. the mustangs i can handle, but there's one vette with a bored out ls2 and a 150 shot of nitrous. i'm determined to run with that sob after this deployment. I'm still talking with chris at banzai on which turbo to use for a single conversion among a few other toys i plan on getting after this trip. after that point i'm not betting on the 275's catching near as well.

I was at the first airport drift indy event u went to......when i saw ur car i was like..."this is gonna be interesting"....seems like the power hits really hard in ur car and is hard to control while going sideways when that hits....crazy stuff.
as far as launch goes
wish i could do this, but i don't have the time or money for a build of this caliber lol

I'd like to get back into it. Just for fun.
But about Columbus:
It was AWESOME!
I was put into "forced induction sport" class.(essentially street class)
Then when as I was coming up to the staging lanes, the guy that runs IFO was giving me this weird look because I was on the MTs and skinnys.
He asked me if I had a full exhaust, to which I replied "All the way."
Then he pointed at my tires started to say something, so I cut him off and said
"I drove here 3 1/2 hours on these tires...No joke...ET streets and skinnys, Interstate and all!!"
Then he was like:
"WELL THEN!!..You deserve to be in this class."

But anyways, I took 2nd place in my "street class." I got $100, but no trophy.
I REALLY wanted a trophy.
I lost to a fully gutted wrx with a roll cage.
I not butt hurt about losing to him...I'm butt hurt that I didn't get a trophy.

NICE!!!
Looks like a pain to work on. You have NO space...compared to me.
Those Puerto Ricans have a few...talk to them.
well hell yeah glad to hear it went well. i didnt know you were goin there to run. what kind of time you running?
last time i saw you on a strip i think you were running 15's or 16's cause of a fresh power fc and no tune or something

WHAT!!!!????
My car is beat up. It's built to race, not show.
No joke...I've seen taxi cabs with better body work then mine.
Last time I was at Muncie I ran an 11.5.
In Columbus I qualified 1st with an 11.2.
Then during eliminations, I ran an 11.1.
Track prep was really nice there.
Not bad for a 1.3 liter on pump gas.

All of it will, along with heat shields for all the oil lines. Keeping it uncoated for now until we're sure nothing needs to be tweaked

Tony, what size slicks do you have? I'm trying to figure out if I wanna rock 10.5x26 or 11.5x26 or 11.5x28
Have you seen Indy's scene?

I'm sitting on all stock suspension so that might make a difference too...lol
A lot of the guys are going with 11.5x26 now with good results, so I'm gonna go with that for my next set.
hmmm 20lbs
so you should be making over 500hp E85 right?? you either need to lighten that car up or get some better traction somehow, you should so be in the 10's...... give me two hours with your car and we'll make it happen

and ya my car wont see the street.....unless i roll dirty dirty for a night and pray i dont get pulled over

I have 10.5x26 and they're real close to rubbing, so I wouldn't go any taller.
