You have some serious facts to straighten out in your post there champ, just a quick FYI. I mean God forbid you'd try and bring logic and correct information into an argument...

Designed and fabricated custom turbo, fuel system, and electrical system. Bare metal stripped, body worked and painted a car, and been a part of a world championship drag racing team with 10 world records. I guess that was all last year. Haven't done much this year.

I fully expected that what I was doing would kill the engine. I said it SEVERAL times a few pages back. The fact that the failure had nothing to do with the power surprised me. Doesn't make it any less true.

A bunch of machined parts can not make accidents because they can’t make choices.
I don't feel like digging through posts, but I don't believe I said "freak accident" though I may have. The fact of the matter is, it was a random failure. I agree that all engines, all parts can have random failures. I definitely didn't shed any tears about it, in fact, I recall standing around laughing with Nick and Derek about it the following evening.

But It’s not COMMON on a factory engine (unless at very high mileage) with no modifications to experience damaging fatigue on any part UNLESS UNDER ENGINEERED/UNDER BUILT FOR THE APPLICATION. Connecting rods are NO different. Cause and effect. You and never die easy refer to “freak accidents” as something that happens without cause. IMPOSIBLE. Something has to have caused it, It doesn’t matter if it was predicted to happen down to the second or happened without warning. You’re in no place to call me an idiot.
All valve springs will fail, especially on an old Opel. That would rank well into the TYPICAL failure modes of a piston engine. Pretty sure I already said all this once, still working on that reading comprehension, eh? My connecting rod failure isn't the question, the cam bearing dislodging was the weird occurance; a connecting rod failure from spinning the motor 400-500 RPM higher than intended is normal, and what I thought happened until teardown, you idiot.

And where exactly did I define "freak accident". You keep grasping at that straw like it has some relevance to your argument. It's cute, but not very pointful.

All this statement means is that those twin turbos don’t help the matter any. There is no false statement there. “Get over it” as you like to say.
My setup is nothing like Nick's actually. Different engine, different turbo (and different amount of turbos) different chassis, different piping type, different engine location. But other than that, yeah they're similar.

The point was that you called out weight distribution. I covered it, then you said you never said anything about it. You've been doing that consistantly. Once you hit a topic that you can't recover, you just ignore it. Again, politics are in your future. The topic is silly anyway, since it has no relevance to the purpose of these cars, and the amount it's off can be fixed with slight ballasting anyway, if needed.

Hell yes it would. I like the turbo 1 rotor for that, personally.

I never said I was intimidating, or that I intended to fight you, you ASSUME that. My point was that if you would have walked up, you might have figured out that I know a hell of a lot more than you give me credit for. Hell, I'm even a nice guy. I've driven across 3 states to help a friend move on 3 hours notice, donated rear ends to local rotary racers (well, I did charge a Mt. Dew) tried to GIVE PARTS AWAY on this board, and built 4 cars for friends of mine for a total charge of Mt. Dew, Iced Tea and pizza.

****, if you'd have walked up and asked, I'd of told you I'm a pompous *******; you can call my Mom and ask her, and she'll tell you the same. I don't say anything I can't backup though, anyone here who knows me well can back that up too. I also don't talk **** about people I don't know, and the people I do talk **** about, I'm happy to say it to their face.

Oh, and as far as the ignorant V8 owners comment, I actually come out of 1500 HP supercharged 4 bangers, and high output 3.8L V6s; I like anything that makes power, but as a torque junky the rotary (except Rob's freak of nature) just isn't my engine of choice. Doesn't mean it has no place, just that it's place isn't in my car.

I came up with intimidation do to the definition of coward nothing more. And no I didn’t assume you wanted to fight me. Lol I don’t think anyone on here is that extreme. Tony may be though with the ufc and dragonball z he’s the one to watch out for.

U have done some note worthy things I give u props.

I wouldn’t take everything I said to heart, but you can if you want to.

If you ever build that turbo 1 rotor shifter cart that would be sweet to see. at one time rolf and I were thinking about building something similar to that with a turbo 1 rotor but more like a 2 seater t-rex type of thing.

And no I don’t think you’re a dumbass -not that you care, I know, I know.-

Good times, good times.

Hey now Robs engine is not a freak of nature... lol, Actually it sounds like you could easily build one if you had the desire, meaning you could fund it... Someone just needs to show you the way. Lol

So if we meet on the 5th where's a good place? Mad Anthony's still sound good?

Trust me, I don't take much to heart. If I got upset every time someone didn't like me much, I'd never have any time to work or build cars.

I would never fight with Tony, I'm pretty sure he can tear me in half with his mind; I hate to think of what he could do with his fists.

The shifter kart will happen at some point, there is no doubt about that. The jetski may also. The kart has to be done before my kids are old enough to driveit , so I still have a few years (since I don't have kids yet, it will be a bit till they can drive a kart) but, as I'm a picture/attention *****, pictures will be posted somewhere.

In the mean time, I keep my eyes open for a one rotor e-shaft.

Looking for a couple parts if anyone has a parts car...

There is a clip that mounts to the firewall, that plugs into the windshield antenna in the cowl, and outputs the "normal" car stereo antenna for the stereo inside. I need this.

I also need the hvac plumbing that mounts under the windshield for the windshield defog.

Anybody have this stuff? I can go get it out of one of my friend's parts cars in Indy, but if I could avoid driving 4 hours round trip for parts that people usually throw away, that'd be great...

In other news, I tore my car down to the bare shell inside to redo some wiring and install bulkhead fittings for the oil pressure gauge and vacuum gauge/controls, and to reinforce my relocated heater core feed lines (they never did seal right to the firewall grommets before). Nothing fancy, but it should make the car easier to service in the future, and it looks nice (and I'm bored, since I'm waiting on engine parts). Oh, and painting sucks in 100% humidity and 90* air temp...

James is a member of team Fuzion.
My crew...He raced Blake last year.
We all hang out together at hall's and random parking lots.
We go out to find races.

You guys need to start coming out more often!!! I still need to try my luck against James on the bike from a dig sometime. Has James raced Dan with the black Evo9 yet? If he has, and beat him, I def have a buddy that he may want to line up against: http://videos.streetfire.net/video/E...bra_680290.htm The Cobra runs 11's.

I'm trying to line up some close races

Any idea when your car will be running 100%?

James beat Dan.
I also beat Dan with my little sister's integra.
I'm sure he's got more mods since then.

I'll tell him about your bike and the cobra. He'll race anything.
We don't get butt hurt when we lose. It's all in fun.

But about my car, I'm not sure.
I tried the ls2's with no luck either.
Then I got some msd plug wires thinking it was the old wires I was using.
No luck.
I've trying to sell my body to get that ignition system, so that's why we havent been going out every weekend.

The truck coils didn't work out for ya?

Do you want to try my MSD's instead on the leading? I'm not pushing it enough to need them right now anyway.
