This is for any and all ppl interested in a meet up in Omaha. Sgt. Blue and I have decided to make one last attempt to get ppl together before summer ends and school starts for some. The idea is for a mid-afternoon meet and then caravan over to flashbacks for the car show on a wednesday. My goal is to get at least 4 of us together. That's the minimum I'm going for at least. So far there's Sgt. Blue and I. Here's the wednesday's left this month to work with: 17th/24th/31st. Let's see what we can come up w/.

 

I'd like to go - I'm working on the 24th, so that's out for me. The 31st is wide open right now, and the 17th is probably ok but I might get called into work because I'm on call that day. I can meet after about 5-6PM depending on when I get off work.

 

I say the 31st, Pearl if you agree on that i will put it in to get that off for work, shouldn't be a prob. I've been wanting to meet up with you guys since june but i missed that last get together i was out of town, 31st i will be free. I might be at flashbacks this wed. too. Keep me updated, if people stop writing on this thread PM me.

 

The 31st is ok for me. If that's what ppl want to shoot for then we need to get serious about showing up b/c this is getting rediculous. I'd like definite answers so we can plan things accordingly.

 

where will we meet, in Omaha? and what place.

 

We were thinkin about a Big Freds meet up around 2 or 3 and then a cruise over to Flashbacks. Let's see who comes around.

 

Correction, I had forgotten that we had decided on Hooters on about 124th and center. Just FYI...

 

id be down, idk if anyone knows me but im from lincoln with a 60-1 turbo'd fc, i hope to be up at flashbacks this wendsday and i think tyler, (goodbar6) will help me tune my haltech, should be fun, just have a few minor bugs to work out on my car but if all goes well it would be nice to meet up

Cars start showing up at flashbacks that early?? I thought like they showed up at 5. Well i want to make sure this is goin down too cause i dont want to take off from work and then have no one show.

Ok Gentleman (Jeff too) , normally I'd be working on the 31st, but I'll take it off. I'm hoping to see as many as can possibly make it. Jeff and I suggested HOOTER'S because it's got plenty of flat parking (and I hear they've got good chicken ). We can then caravan straight down Center St. to FLASHBACK'S, hopefully early enough that we can park together. How early depends on you guys, but I've seen the lot start to fill up as early as 5:30-6:00 PM. If I could suggest a time...4:30.
Cozmo, FCs and FBs are for sure welcome. And if anyone else knows any of the RX8 guys, that'd be OK with me too. If you don't know the way, just take I-80 to I-680 to W. Center Rd. exit. Go west to about 124th and HOOTER'S is on the left (south side).

I'm suggesting Hooter's at 4:30. Meet, eat and look a little, then, as soon as everyone is there, go to the show in time to be able to park together.

Prob should meet up at hooters a little earlier than 4:30, I would think. Maybe 3:30 or so and try to make it to Flashbacks by 4:30 or 5. Just a thought.

how much boost were you making when it blew?

I'm only making 5lbs with an open exhaust and intake

 

I wasnt even in boost when it blew lol before it happened when I hit boost it would peg the stock gauge and I would let off because I wasnt sure where it was at( my autometer gauge sucks) so thats like 8 or 9lbs I think

 

Let's go for 3:30 so that we have a little more time to eat or whatever. That will be the final cut...We should also get some definete in or outs from ppl so we can get an idea of who will be there. How bout we start a list of who's for sure gonna come and what they'll be driving.
