WELL fellas, i'll keep you informed of whats happening and if i will meet you at hooters or just flashbacks. I just got fired from my job yesterday, so i am going to be in the process of finding a full-time job instead of a part-time job. If all goes well i should find a job next week sometime only thing is, is that the 31st is a ways away and i probably shouldn't ask off so soon at the next job to meet you guys at 3:30. I will definately be going just might not make it to hooters soon enough. I'll let ya know when it gets closer.

 

I have an update as well. My turbo situation is going terrible wrong, now I know why ppl try to stay away from rebuilds. Anyway, I just purchased a set of 99 spec turbos today and as long as I receive them by next tuesday then i will be there. Even if I have to work all the through the night before to get them installed. Not to mention my waterpump is beginning to go, that's a cake walk to fix though. If I have to I can hold off on replacing it until after the 31st.

 

Does anyone plan on being at Flashbacks tom. night. Just seeing cause i might go there.

the weather doesnt look to good for tonight, porblably gonna bed a small turn out. If any of you guys know anyone looking for a T2 Im thinking about selling mine. it's an 87, full racingbeat exhaust , 3in tid, turbo xs bov, rtek 1.5, emssions blocked off, Motegi mr7's, autometer phantom boost and A/F gauges, walbro, mbc. Has low compression(60) on the front rotor so It's gonna need rebuilt. Im gonna buy a Bike for a toy so I gotta get rid of this thing. I'd like to get like 2500 OBO( which is a huge loss to me, the parts have like 20 miles on them) The body is pretty decent, the hood has some small hail damage, looks like the sunroof is in the beginging stages of rusting(big surprise) So if you guys know someone let me know, i HATE to do it but it has to go. A kevin landers rebulid with a street port is only like $1600 plus shipping, so someone could have a pretty nice, fast t2 for less than 5k. Im just ready to move on. Im sur there are more mods that I cant remember at the moment

Well I made it. Great night, alot of cars. Although I was able to meet bheimen there were no other RX7s there. Don't know where Mazdaspeed was, but I was there until about 7:40 and no one else showed.
I also met a couple of guys with the local 'Z' club who invited me to join. I guess they actually get together, go on runs, BBQs etc.

 

I got there at 7, i seen a red rx7 pretty sure that was bheimen leaving when i was turning off of 84th dont know where you were at sgtblue i was looking for you though, i would of been there earlier but i had to wait for a friend.

 

Looks like the turnout was the usual. I would have been there, but unexpectedly had to fly to Houston Friday night for my dad (open heart surgery). Still here and he's going home tomorrow. Maybe next time.

 

So did anyone go to Flashbacks last night, i was there at about 5:30-6pm, just wondering, pretty good turn-out i would think.
