Haha damn, I'm triple posting. Jackinthebox suggested we try meeting same time same place on november 3rd. It might be sweater weather, but we can still meet up. Besides, our cars produce plenty of heat lol. As long as it isn't nasty weather I know I am game.

 

I am ok with this, stopped for lunch at a sports bar called The Glory Hole on the way to Waynesville, MO yesterday. Lunch ran through me like the mighty buffalo through the open plains. Road trippin' is not an option in my current state...

Depending on weather I would come down with my rx8 unless I get the FC started before than.

 

What all do you have to do?

 

Put in a new starter, exhaust and get it started. I have a fresh ported motor in it that is being a stubborn b**** first it kept killing my battery then killed the starter, but I'm hoping on Fri to get it started with a new starter and a big marine battery.

 

Mine is still pissing oil, so probably can't make the rescheduled event.

 

You dont have to come in an rx7. Hell, you could meet up with me and my buddies and ride down with us depending on your location. Mine probably wont be ready either but it'll be good to get to know some other rotorheads from ks besides the ones in my direct area.

well its not looking good for me any longer. my fc has some elctrical issue i need to find my sprint re was reading that the engine was running when it wasnt running and showed messed up temp readings so i have to figure that out in guessing its a grounding issue somewhere. and my rx8 is now in the shop getting the tranny warrantied i had a slight grind in 4th and they are giving me a whole new trans under warranty. on a plus i got my fd running but not going on a road trip in it with out a tune.

 

Im in lawrence but most of the guys i know are in JoCo and we'll be riding down in a group so the more the merrier

 

Let's do a final headcount before we actually meet up, I don't know about you but I don't want to drive all that way and be the only car there.
