I figure we need an official October Kansas Rotary meet thread, so here it is. Sunday October 20 1300 hrs. Location, a park in Emporia (hopefully far enough away from Tyson that the smell of RX7 will overpower the smell of cat food.)

Like I mentioned in the kansas rx7s thread, how does Jones Park sound? It is fairly close to the interstate and I don't remember smelling anything out of the ordinary last time I was there.

Low on time, money, and knowledge to fix it myself.

 

I just got my fc started on saturday, now i just need an oil pressure sensor, tune up, at least two front wheels, alignment. The money to get it all done will determine whether ill drive or ride there

I wont have my rx7 done in time so ill be riding down with my buddies newly purchased s5 and another buddy in his mazda 3 and possibly another mazda 3 as well. So 3 people- 2 cars as of right now. Will have to check with other 3 owner

 

Too far and I's too busy this coming weekend. Will try to catch the next one. Sorry I can't come meet all you Wichita, Salina and such folks.

Can we move the meet time to 10 or 11 a.m.? I am going to be busy in the afternoon and having a 1 o'clock meet time makes it pretty tight for me.

 

Weather is nasty today but the forecast is for low 70s for the meet!

I can't come any earlier, but maybe some of the other guys can.

 

Just found out that matt (red turbo mazda speed3) traded it for a prius...he will no longer be joinin us. A moment of silence please

 

Well... Installed my new steering wheel today, finally got my rear wheel off and replaced my brake pads, and replaced my battery terminals, only to find out my FC will not start. Guess I'll be missing out tomorrow. If only I had an NB Miata that worked all the time *sigh

 

Both my friends just backed out at the last minute. How many does that leave us? 3? Should we postpone?

 

I have three cars in my group...but we can postpone if it would be bigger later on in the year. I may even be able to finish mine by the next one. Lmk asap because im still up partyin but the others are probay asleep

 

Yeah I have family stuff that just came up that I have to go to. I won't be able to make it either... We should push it back to another time I'm thinking
