If there's a Des Moines meet, Saylorville is probably the best bet for a drive, and even for picnic tables and whatnot too.

I'm about 10 minutes away. It's not too bad or a place too. Just had a lot of speed bumps. There's some nice curves nearby but probably not too safe during the day. I'll have to drive around this weekend and see what i can find for some curves.

I'm usually around Des Moines on the weekends, and there are a few nice roads to drive, but the ones I know are short. A friend and I usually go out there on our bikes, but we really have to ride them back and forth to get enough time on the curves.

And there are definitely plenty of places to have a meet.

Hopefully I get setup down there and can rent a garage down there.

If I get that job I'll have the FD up and running by the meet.

Also, i have a friend that just bought a black FC. It's not a TurboII but it still has the 5 lug axles. Anyone know what type it is? I don't know FC's very well.

Highly doubtful that my car will be completed by March 18, but if it is I will be there. March seems a little early for me (cold) but I am still up for it. Just gotta remember to bring warm clothes so I am not freezing my *** off like last time.

Yes GTU's were 5 lug. had all the options turbo did. Even an aluminum hood on the s4's

Most s4's were four lug

Most s5's were five lug (if not all)

If it has matching molding it's a s5.

IanS. . . My car is red and looks all factory except the Apexi exhaust. I usually only drive it on the weekends around Iowa City.

I dont have any pics right now and if i did I wouldnt know how to put them on here anyway (could use a little help here Adam). If you see me you will know cause you can here me from a mile away.

I have a full 3" exhaust (down pipe, mid pipe, and apexi n1 catback).

Oh yea! Just got done converting to the poor mans non-seq. and removed all emmisions (EGR, ACV, AWS. double throttle, etc). Also replace all the hoses with blue silicone ones.
I think that about sums it up.

March 18th at saylorville would be great for me. I'll already be in town for St. Patricks day drunkfest on the 17th.
