I'm about 10 minutes away. It's not too bad or a place too. Just had a lot of speed bumps. There's some nice curves nearby but probably not too safe during the day. I'll have to drive around this weekend and see what i can find for some curves.

I'm usually around Des Moines on the weekends, and there are a few nice roads to drive, but the ones I know are short. A friend and I usually go out there on our bikes, but we really have to ride them back and forth to get enough time on the curves.
And there are definitely plenty of places to have a meet.
You guys willing to take along a rotary hopeful but not an owner?

Interview on the 2nd down in Des Moines so i'll be down that way.
Hopefully I get setup down there and can rent a garage down there.
If I get that job I'll have the FD up and running by the meet.
We should shoot for the march date. Seems resonable.

I'm up for a march date also. How's the 18th for everyone?
Also, i have a friend that just bought a black FC. It's not a TurboII but it still has the 5 lug axles. Anyone know what type it is? I don't know FC's very well.

Good idea March 18 would be fine as well as another in May or so.
March 18th at Saylorville would be good. If the weather is supposed to be bad it could always change, ya know?
Did the GTU's have 5 lugs?

Most s4's were four lug
Most s5's were five lug (if not all)
If it has matching molding it's a s5.

Wish I could make it. But not sure if I can make the drive to Des Moines. Hopefully I'll have the darn FC sold by then anyways. Anyone interested in a Mardorf SP FC?

IanS. . . My car is red and looks all factory except the Apexi exhaust. I usually only drive it on the weekends around Iowa City.
I dont have any pics right now and if i did I wouldnt know how to put them on here anyway (could use a little help here Adam). If you see me you will know cause you can here me from a mile away.
I have a full 3" exhaust (down pipe, mid pipe, and apexi n1 catback).
twin cold air intakes
Greddy BOV (waste of money but looks cool)
Greddy pully kit (alternator/water pump)
Efini y pipe/intercooler pipe
few other misc. stuff
Oh yea! Just got done converting to the poor mans non-seq. and removed all emmisions (EGR, ACV, AWS. double throttle, etc). Also replace all the hoses with blue silicone ones.
I think that about sums it up.
