I don't know if this is the same one but me and a friend saw a red one on the west side of des moines that had that stock rims, what looked like ebay headlights(the quad ones), and euro tails. It looked like a kid driving it. Even younger than me. But i figure it'll have a new owner soon when he runs out of money fixing it all the time. That's probably why he's buying ebay parts.

Thats so true that he will sell it when it breaks. His dad probably bought the car for him to begin with. If that guy has euro lights on it I hope that it does break so that I dont have to see those shitty lights.

CR is about an hour north of where I live. I am up for wherever, as long as it is chosen at least a couple weeks in advance so I can get off work if need be.

where did you guys meet at in CR? in DM there are places like Water Works Park (city park)...if that is the kind of place you've met at in the past

Also what else did you do, check out cars, drive, maybe restaurant, etc.?

hey guys first timer here. Just sined up today. A meet in CR or DM would be great for me. I live in Iowa City and work in the DM area during the week. It would be nice to talk to some people who dont go "huh" when you tell them its a rotary.

oh man im so pissed off right now i was all set up to buy a 92 turbo 2 one owner mint condition for 1200 dollars yes i said 1200 dollars and it wasnt stock either it had a few upgrades exhaust, clutch, and a couple other things

so anyways now you know what kind of car i was after i was all set up to go buy it tonight so i get a call from my buddy that lives near the car at 7 in the morning said a 16 year old kid went last night and had his dad buy it for 1300

the old guy that was selling it gave me his word he would not sell it till i got there friday i offered him some money to hold it for like a couple days he said no he'll hold it not to worry about it that stupid **** just sold it to a 16 year old kid who is either going to wreck it, blow it up, or kill himself in it ******* A im so pissed

anyways sorry about the bitching but im really mad

we had it at a park in CR last year we just hung out and checked each others cars out and cooked some burgers and hot dogs and **** then went for a drive afterwards probly do the same thing

FCkieran why dont you check out a couple parks up in des moines and let us know what you come up with if all else fails we know we can get the same park in CR

Yeah, I'll check out some more locations in DM area.

I think our best bet would be at the Des Moines Water Works Park. It is a huge city park on the southwestish corner of DM. I am pretty sure there are picnic facilities or at least tables. I will check around to see if there is anyplace else that would be nice for a gathering and a drive. I'll also try to stop over to DMWWP to spot out decent locations sometime here before the date (Sat. May 13?). It is quite large and can be a pain to find a specific location. If I don't find any other place that is suitable, I will get back to you all with specifics on DMWWP.
