all you need is the power wire....ground it anywhere you want - test witha multimeter and find a good ground

if it is a mechanical gauge it should only need a wire for ground and a wire for power for the lights....so ya 2 wires.

Everyone listed has expressed interest in a club of some sort. The meeting on Sunday will help determine what this club will be. I have indicated who I know is coming:

Yes
sszablya
TainoIndian (coming from Pueblo)
Blitzkrieg
saxyman990
piston pounder
johnchabin (me)

Maybe
Sweet7
suganuma (maybe getting a ride from saxyman990 - wants Saturday nights instead)
GOTPAM?
Elevation7 (wants Sundays)
William Wilson

No
DrWankel (wants Saturdays instead)
mmonaco (Saturday nights not ok)
benhart21 (not available until the 17th)

I'm going even if it snows.

I pretty much "THINK" this meeting is set in stone, and is gonna be on sunday. You have to admit that sticking with the orginal day keeps things organized!.

I think the best thing is to go back to what I proposed back in the summer and is what we usually do in dallas and the DFW rx7 club.

You have a meeting of sorts on the 3rd saturday of the month, whether that is going out racing karts, having a BBQ, gathering at someone's house and just hanging out....drinkin it up for someone's b-day....whatever. usually whatever it is it goes down during the day on saturday.

THEN....there is a meeting spot for the rx7s and Supra club in dallas and a couple newer vettes and a 911 turbo used to come as well sometimes. everyone meets there on sat evening and sometimes friday as well....but usually the bigger crowd on saturday. It is right in between starbucks and cheddars so everyone goes and eats, hangs out in the parking lot, goes and gets some coffee....usually rx7 guys would get a table at cheddars together and eat and then we would hang and chat for a while, go outside and screw around and maybe go do some racing on the highway. this place was right next to a not-so-busy highway that was for some reason 3 lanes in that area. it was kind of along a restaraunt roe kind part of town. It was a great area to meet.

ALRIGHT....so what I say we do IS....

arrange something for 3rd sat of month - y'all can all clear out one saturday to go hang out...

decide on a parking lot next to a restaraunt somewhat near some unpatroled and unpopulated streets that we can run on or a highway that has some good condition paving on it...
I dont know the denver area so well, but I would suggest something right around 470 and I-25....maybe a restaraunt near that mall over there or somethin. Whatever place we decide on, we need to arrange with the manager to see if he minds if we gather there. sometimes they mind, sometimes they dont care, sometimes they think its cool and will bring in some business. It would be good if there was a big parking lot so we dont just clog up his parking lot for the restaraunt.

What do you need to do:
Drive around on highways/streets and look or just think about areas that you think might meet our requirements. then we can send some people to go check it out.
I would prefer not to have to drive 1.5 hours to the North side of Denver....although the place we went last time was pretty good for all our requirements.
