i mean theres nothing to do as a club.....nothing to do at night and i cant really stay out on sunday night anyways....have meetings and such to do

saturday and/or friday has a better day atmosphere to do something and a better night scene to get some people up there and just hang out and race a bit or somethin.

I think we might be getting too far off the mark with a "generic" car club. I'm a fan of all the generations of RX-7, so I think an FB, FC and FD RX-7 club would be good.

What we should do is get together as planned and figure out what we want this to be, what models it should cover, etc. Are we still on? Or should we postpone?

I agree with John, I don't think we should limit this to any certain cars. Someone that is familiar with Denver should come up with a place to meet and we pic a time, say like 6 or 7 on Saturday and we meet there.

Since an announcement has already been made, we are going to continue with the first meeting.

This meeting will be a planning session to determine what the club will be. 1:00 next Sunday, October 13th, at the Wynkoop. I will post directions here a bit later this week.

What the hell. If nobody shows up, I'll have a burger and beer and head home.

suganuma: Try to make it if you can; it sounds like you might be interested in some type of club. Besides, it sounds like you have a pretty nice 3rd gen.

I don't think so. I'll be there with my girl.

Also, Dr. Wankel, I thought you said earlier that 3PM Sunday would work.. This changed?

I'm down for Sundayafternoon. I'll definetly be there.

ya
i am going to try and speed it up, but its going to be hard since my odometer doesnt work - havent had a chance to go pull off my new one of of cody's car...

figure denver is 60 or so miles from here....drive there and back 5 days and that is my break in....then start boosting a little bit - 5-8psi for a few hundred miles and then gradually bring it up a psi for every 100 miles up to about 12 psi...

Well...actually on Sunday, Second Creek IS open. This time of year they probably have test and tune all you want.

Plus, we can go karting(like we did last time)...or, we could play paintball sometime...take a cruise up to the hills...etc.

There is plenty of things to do on a Sunday, just requires some imagination.
