Since the weather outlook for the weekend doesn't look too great, perhaps we should continue this post for one more week and shoot for the following weekend. This Sunday afternoon doesn't sound too bad, though.

We can also post in the other forum in case they don't look here...
Shyeah, I'm on it.

Lets see how the weather is shaping up for a week from Sunday.

sszablya: Saw your (other) post! Maybe we can get a little more interest.

It looks like we will meet Sunday, October 13th (afternoon) at the Wynkoop downtown. I'll be parking in the lot across Wynkoop Street (the Union Station lot).

How does this date work for you guys? Time?

johnchabin (me) - around noon or 1:00 is good for me.

There must be some other FD Fanatics in Denver...

I won't be able to mae it down on Sunday, or any Sunday for that matter. I work till 5 through the winter.
Saturday late afternoon/evenings would work for me, but whatever, I'll try to make it down sometime.

Saturday afternoon is ok for me, too. I think we have few enough people where we should think about a different day.

How late in the afternoon works for you, Dr Wankel?

I work M-F, 6-3. I am normally not available weekend mornings.

I'm starting to understand why the IM RX-7 Club met at night so often...

Are FDs really such a rarity in Denver? I guess I have seen more than a few of them wrecked...

1) Sweet7
2) MontegoRX7
3) cpdumph (or is this a repeat?)
4) A female-owned red FD that was at an IMRX-7 meeting in Mead (track)
5) I saw one at Mazda-Honda that ran off a mountain road

I was hoping for an afternoon as winter is coming and you can't see much at night...

Kind of what I thought...

A really messed up black FD that crashed at a high rate of speed. I figured it was the same guy.

[i] Last time we met up at an Old C's in Westy, there was only 6-7 of us that showed up and only 3 of us brought our RX-7's but it was still a damn good time, oh and the waitress was really hot too so that helped But anyway lets try to get a time set up and go form there. [/B]
Didn't Brent seem to think he had dibs on that waitress because he saw her first? She was damn hot, and so was the jailbait Nic was hitting on. It was damn fun though, even though I didn't get a ride in Dane's car Anyways, I'll show up in the FC one of these days(after my house arrest is done on the 17th ) I'd like to go to one last get together before I leave for San Diego in November

that girl did NOT look 17...
and 17 aint jailbait anyways...21 y.o. waitress i brought attention to and I thought he was gonna make a move, but he never did....so if we go back there, its my turn...or y'all can take a prod - i dont care.

anyways.....as for meeting....

Nic thinks we should still try to do what we do in Dallas and get lots of people there and invite all rx7 and supra owners and any exotics....maybe welcome some modified C5s, 911s, etc

we need a parking lot where that meets this list:

1. somewhat central to where everyone lives
2. near some sort of decenly lighted highway or fun roads to go give rides or race
3. near a restaraunt so we can eat and chat (flirt with waitresses and other girls coming into eat that stop to look at the cars)
4. big
5. well lighted
6. not huge and steep drop offs, pot holes, hillls, etc

thats all i can think of for now

We should meet on Saturday evening...late enough so its about dinner time or a little after, but early enough so we can still go do stuff afterwards if we want.
I say 7 or 8pm.

As for the FD only club, maybe you should just create a yahoo club for colorado RX7 owners....most of the generations are the same all in all....then everyone can go help whoever else out. no need to leave out the FCs or FBs....

haha first new member besides nic, but i'm with him also about this being a club for everyone. Theres really not to many nice cars around here in co(ya got to look pretty hard). It would be great for everyone to meet together. And i would still like to be envoled even tho i'm 7'less right now i'm working on it. I mean the FD's could still meet on there own sometimes. i dunno if i have much say tho just cuz i don't own one just adding my 2 cents.

Is there an Old C's in that area too? If so that is where we all met the last time we tried this.
