Delicious, Daring, Dynamic, Dyno Day!
Today I went and spoke to Rusty at Muscle Car Specialties in Olathe about a possible dyno day in September (hey do you remember) or October. We need at least 6 cars to make it worth his time. The more cars we have, the cheaper it will be for the rest of us. The ideal days are Saturdays and Sundays. He says we can do around twenty cars in a day, if we somehow find 30 cars we would be looking at a 2 day affair. I did not get too much into specifics, how many runs, cost, tuning, etc. in the past we did 3 runs for about 35 bucks a car. If we get enough interest to make it a whole day ordeal we can look into grilling or sandwiches or something.
The question becomes, how many are in?
1. Raindog. One car 2 people.

Hooyeah. If we need more people to get the price down, t'might be good happydoings to invite other car owners. Everyone can invite people they know or we could tap other car clubs directly. Am sure some people from the SCCA crowd would be interested, as well. Maybe I can get us another loudass race car... Also, people are gonna wanna know what kinda prices we're lookin' at. Was it something like $35 each if we have 10 or more cars last time?

He done went and got himself a Miata, although I bet he'd still be interested in putting it on a dyno. I'd be more than happy to go ahead and make some calls and find us a good deal on a dyno day if I knew we had at least 10 people interested. That being said, I'm still game for whenever.

I'm still interested. If it happens before I start tearing down my suspension. Snow/weather could also be a problem for me as I'd have to drive the 250 or so miles. RXs aren't much good in the snow.
