Coming home to So Illinois/SE Missouri
And I'm hoping to bring the FD. I'll be heading that direction around 4 Oct and staying about 3 weeks, I'd like to get together with some folks in the area if possible. I've already talked to a couple people about this but I've never met any of you and I figure if I'm gonna have the FD with me I might as well hit you guys up. I'll be in the Cape Girardeau/St Louis area in MO and Carbondale/Pinckneyville area in IL. I'll also be around Scott AFB at some point.
Anyone down for meeting up sometime next month?

Not much of a RX7 scene in St.Louis anymore, let alone c-dale...
If you're coming up, Chris and I can meet up with ya. It would be a good reason to break out the Rum..

Sounds good! I'll PM you my number so we can get in touch offline. The first weekend I'm home (specifically the 9th) I have a family reunion to go to, but I think I'm clear any other time.
Unfortunately, I graduated and don't go to SIU in Carbondale anymore. GREAT place to hit twisties and take cruises though. in my 4-5 years down there I only saw maybe 3 FD's and a handfull of FC anf FBs. No "club" scene like mentioned earlier.

Well maybe we could do something else then lol.
I was supposed to leave this morning to go home but I'm still working a couple small issues with the FD before I take off. I don't want there to be any issues.

It wouldn't be a good spot to take the cars down too but always a good drunk time!

Well I got home last night at midnight. I'll have to post pics of the car. My oil coolers, bottom side of the intercooler and radiator are all plastered with bugs, not to mention the front bumper and windshield. And somehow they managed to splatter the lips of the front wheels too. I also have two bugs crammed into the crank pulley and a few carcases scattered around elsewhere in the engine bay.
But the car made it home without any hiccups!! I'm proud of my girl.
