Chicago GUN CREW Meets

As we put our fast toys to sleep for the winter, we still need a reason to meet up. The reason that was quite enjoyable last year was a meet at a pistol range to take out aggression against our paper foes. Looking at a mid-January meet, so that gives enough time for those without a FOID to apply and receive one. ( http://www.isp.state.il.us/media/doc...s.cfm?DocID=38 ). I know Christian, Ming, and I have one, and you need one to rent a firearm, as well as be inside the firing range, so...get one if you don't. Who else is interested?

Yes. In addition to all other requirements, a person who is under 21 years of age must have the written consent of his or her parent or legal guardian to possess and acquire firearms and firearm ammunition. Also, he or she must not have been convicted of a misdemeanor other than a traffic offense or adjudged delinquent. The parent or legal guardian providing written consent must be eligible to possess a valid FOID card.

: a procedure available under title 28 section 1404 of the U.S. Code for the transfer of a case by a court in which the case is brought to another court where the case could have been properly brought and which would be more convenient for the parties and witnesses and better serve the interests of justice
However, in this case, it means bring the thread to RC3.

The DE is a POS. Of course, this was a range gun, but it jammed after almost every damn shot. But it's soooooo damn impracticle. Not to mention the fact that it's too damn heavy too.

Personally, I'm a huge fan of the Glock 37. For me anyway, it fits perfectly. It's light and doesn't really kick that bad.

And you don't need to be 21 to get a FOID.
