May 17 may work, i leave for minnesota may 28 so we should do it before then. I will still have to talk to my friend with the GST and see what he can get together off of the 2gnt website.

This weekend was great, a great day for a cruise. I took my car out saturday, washed and waxed it and took it for a drive. I went to the store to get some dog food and i came out and it was like 9:30, can't believe how beautiful the car looked just sitting there. Just about raped it from the back, lol j/k. The look of the car when it is dark out and some lights shining on it from the grocery store make it look 10x's better. I have some kind of tint on the car, it came with the car when i got it. It looks awesome at night but during the day it looks purple if you look through the side doors through the back. Don't really like it, i will probably change that some day. I'll try to post some pics of my car, can anyone tell me how though.

mmm, well I'm not definate its may 17th. She told me that she *thought* it was may 17th. The 17th is a tuesday IIRC, why a school would hold graduation on a tuesday is beyond me. Hopefuly she will find out if its the right date.

EDIT:

Actually I just got an email from her. Gradauation is the 14th, which is a saturday. I'll plan on staying they night either friday or saturday, but probably only for one night.

Anyone know any decent budget hotels in the omaha/wahoo area? I'm sure the super eight in wahoo is already booked for graduation.

EDIT: yup, they're booked. Sucks, only hotel in wahoo. You guys have any ideas?

Hotels.com isn't much help. I'm just looking for a new budget hotel along the interstate :P Hotels.com doesn't list when the hotel was built, i dont want something from 1968. Looking for a Quality Inn or the like.

Im guessing your best bet would be to stay in omaha and drive to wahoo for the graduation. There are plenty of cheap hotels to stay at.

We can just do it on the side. and I would probably charge you a 100.00 to remove it and replace it.

I picked up my latest FD in North Carolina, and had to drive it back 1200 miles to Omaha. All stock at the time, with the toruing package, so the ride wasn't too bad.. Cruise control was defiantely my friend that trip!!

^Bought mine in Dallas/Ft. Worth. Had a set of stiff coilovers on it....and (R1) no cruise. LOL, was that rough. Still, it was new and I had a grin on my face all the way back. Funny the things you remember...like using my shoe as a cup holder

Hey Shawn, where did you buy your FC?

Hey Jim!! I got the car in Boone, IA, which is just outside of Ames. It's a bit of a project, as I believe the oil control rings are shot - it bellows smoke when running.

So as soon as the single turbo project is finished [soon!!], I have a newly rebuilt S5 motor and tranny to drop in.

Cool. And I'm looking forward to seeing the FD. I don't know much, but I remember seeing some pretty serious hardware when Ryan and I stopped by. Hope everything is going well.
