Although I'm from RX8club, I thought I'd post this for my fellow rotary brothers and sisters on the RX7 forum. There'll be a few from RX8club.com. It would be good to meet some 7 owners. Hope to see 'ya there.

I have been on one of the local forums recently.

The group is very friendly and openly accepts anyone to stop by the meet. I don't think there are any other RX-8s in the group, but it would be awesome to have a few from this forum roll in and take up a section.

Here is the meet location:
They have their weekly meet at 8pm every Saturday night. The location is across from the Briarwood Mall off I-94 and State Street. It is in the parking lot next to the Comerica Building / Damon's Restaurant and Wendy's.

Xceedspeed.com is having their BBQ gathering this afternoon, but quite a few will be coming to this meet tonight. Should be a lot of cars out in the Detroit area today.

Anyway, looks gloomy out there right now, but I'll be there tonight if any 7s want to meet up there. Hope to see ya.

I definately would like to participate / coordinate events as much as possible. I suspect there are a lot of small groups of RX owners out there. It would be hella nice if we could get all together sometime.
