wiring in stock coil
hey guys-I'm finnally getting around to installing my MT.
here is my question:on the scematic,it looks as thou i have to splice "into" the tan wire comming from the leading coil.I need to hook up the pink wir to it,wich i understand senses 12+.That means i will have to cut the tan wire,ad the pink to it and solder all 3 together, right?Just a little unclear on the part, dont wanna fry my ecu.
Also, the 2 tan wires from the trailing coil are already hooked together with the one from the leading coil trough the stock harness, right?no adapting required?
lastly, where can i splice into the fuel pump wire?where is the stock f.p.relay at?
thanks a lot!
david
ps:this,btw,is a lt-8 going into a 87' n/a

All you are doing is pulling switched power for the Microtech from the tan wire on the coil pack plug, you could alternatly pull it from the white AAS connector by the fuse block.
If you have an NA the only thing you need to do to make ALL your stock fuel pump wiring work with the microtech is use the Microtechs switched ground on the old wire that used to come from the airflow meter. This is the big brown wire in the center of the same harness you need to cut out of the stock harness for the alternator plug and the wipers. You may want to use the supplied relay to switch this ground and not switch is directly with the Microtechs green wire because it may be to much current and may cause the internal relay in the Microtech to cook itself.
