Wide band?

I am thinking of buying a PLX M-300 wide band, will this work ok with my Lt-8s?

Has anyone had any experiance with this wide band? do they work ok? no problems?

Cheers

Chris

I've done alot of searching tonight and have decided that i want a wide band with datalogging.

SO, I am now thinking of going with a Innovative LM-1.

I have a buget of about $400 and for a little bit more i can get the RPM kit on it too?

What do you guys think? i'm a bit confused myself, i want a good wideband as i'm a bit of a newbie to the setting up side of the Rotary world. The more i read the more indicisive i get.

Yes, good questions, does the LM1 datalog on the Microtech screen? I know the LT8S accepts 0-1V narrow band, and the LM1 can output 0-1Vand I can define the low and high. But has anybody tested the MT along with the LM-1?

Im pretty sure the LT12s is the only microtech unit that lets you hook a wideband up to it.

Well, if the LTX8 is configured to read 0-1V and 11-19 AFR in a linear fashion, I can hook up the LM1 and program it to provide an output of 0-1V for AFR points between 11:1 and 19:1 on the LM1 screen.

The LT8 doesn't accept a WB signal. I have a Zeitronix and you can plug the narrow band output into the LT8. If I had a ECU that took a WB signal I would want one that had a linear WB output, but I don't so the zeitronix is fine and a little cheaper. You can always just open up 2 windows on your laptop and data log both indepedently too.

I've been searching for different wideband set-ups and the a lot of people really like the LM-1. Anyone have thoughts about other wideband set-ups?
