Question Who is using 550cc & 1600cc injectors w/ the Microtech?

I have been going back & forth w/ Brandon trying to pick the right injectors set up to use when the Microtech comes in.

I'm shooting for 300-400 HP

I can't make up my mind on what combo to use.

My choices are.........

#1 550cc & 1600cc

#2 690cc & 850cc

#3 690cc & 1600cc <<-----I think that's too much fuel)

If I use #1 I will have all the fuel needed the HP i'm looking for. BUT, It's going to be hard to get/keep it smooth when the 1600's come online.

If I use #2 it will be easier to make a smooth transition when the 850's come online. (gap not as big) BUT, I may not have enough fuel for the HP.

Who is using 550cc & 1600cc injectors w/ their Microtech?

How smooth is your transition?

Help!

Good question, as #1 is the route that I shall be taking this year. Engine almost done, fuel rails and injectors are being shipped as I type and other parts being made.

Looking at either the LT8 or MTX8, not sure yet.

Im running 680 and 850cc injectors. At the stock fuel pressure of 38psi, I am hitting about 7-7.5ms. I have a slightly upgraded turbo and pushing 300rwhp.

With more mods I can increase fuel pressure and also probably get another 1ms out of the injection duty cycle.

It is very smooth at the transition.

That's the way I think I will go to. Maybe you could help me out with info/ maps when I have it all install.

In the end, I should be makeing 400+ RWHP EZ. I will have to go up in injectors size when I start for the BIG #'s

I could go on & on about what the car has right now to make the power ez. After the EMS install, the last thing I will need is my 60-1.

A few things real quick..........

BIG FMIC,Greddy BOV,HKS exhaust w/ 3 1/4" down pipe,Aeramotive FPR,all SS fuel lines,Walbro 255, S5 stage 3 street ported engine w/ soild corner seals,2mm/2 peice apex seals,weber jets in e-shaft, ported upper & lower intake manifolds, ported t-body w/ t-body mod.........................Etc,etc.
