I've heard that the LT8 "will not run properly" at the sweet 750. Is their any truth to this?

If so, what rpm's Is It supposed to be adjusted to?

Not a grain of truth. In fact, we've turned the idle down to below 600 RPM before. You'll probably need to set it up to about 800-900 RPM if you have a/c and no BAC, but that's it.

Hmmm...I didn't even know that the BAC Valve was or could be used with LT8. Is the wiring and relations referenced In the Install manual?

That's what the input and output are for. Not sure if the installation manual covers BAC specifically but....

Irregardless, I don't have A/C or PS. So off with the BAC Valve.

It's not that the Microtech won't do it, it's that the car may stall if the BAC is removed and the engine is loaded (big electrical load, etc.).

The BAC COULD be run, it's just PWM. But is it worth the trouble? Not to me since I don't have (or ever had) A/C or power steering...

yeah it worth the trouble. I live in florida. How would I wire the microtech to control A/C and how should the BAC be hooked up. Is it a good ideas to plate it off.

To hook up the BAC you need to give one of its pins 12v and hook the output of the LT8 into the other pin. The LT8 has to be configured for its output to be a PWM. You then set the options in the software and let er rip.

FWIW my car idles at about 800rpm and pulls about 19" of vacuum.

Can I breath a sigh of relief, by not using the BAC Valve, If I axed my A/C and Power Steering? How will that comply with the LT8?

You'll be fine, I am not using a BAC and I still have my A/C.
