Question Water and Air temp question?

my friend had a haltech on his 89' and switched to a microtech, he kept and used the water and air temp sensors of the haltech. but I'm being told they dont play well together is this true? do they read differentlly?

Not going to work. The Microtech is set up to read the stock sensors.

just got a reply from microtech you are right the haltech sensors are calibrated differently from the stock sensors
