Tuning Help.. Leans out around 4500rpm

You guys have probably answered this a million times already, but here I go.

I ran short on funds after my single turbo converision and transmission rebuild. So my builder / tuner just put a safe base map that runs real rich till i get the proper components. I put off ordering my wideband kit for my LT8 to save money. I installed a AEM UEGO.

Reading indicate the following.

Idle 12.4
Highway speeds 5th gear 2500-3300rpm - 10.0 - 11.8 (Real Rich)
Accelerating rapidly over 4000rpm beings to lean out 13-14+

2 problems... I am completely new to tuning. Is it really difficult to correct my issues? I am also worried about my how my boost steadily increases to 1 bar when I am only running a wastegate spring at 6psi right now... any ideas?

Setup: FD, LT8, single turbo gt 35/40 converision with supporting mods.

Jon,
Followed your PM to this thread. Idle is fine, highway is very rich and rapid acceleration is extremely lean. Suggest you hold off on any throttle until you have your issues sorted out. With any appreciable boost, your AFR's should be in the mid-11's (some feel 10's is appropriate).

Best tuning is done in conjunction with an eye on EGT's, but that's out of my league.
Best,
John

RPM isnt what you should be looking for.
You will tune use your Load MAP which is measured in HG and PSI.

You will then make fine adjustments in your rpm map to get it perfect.

Also your turbo is overboosting, either cause your manifold is ****, your wastegate is crap, or your boost controller is crap, or all three at the same time.
