Could i splice into my water temp sensor thats hooked up to my microtech to my autometer temp gauge

and it doesnt matter what color wire goes to in the sensor

also i need a air temp sensor clip what kinds of car would carry the male end of the clip, i am going junkyard shopping this weekend, i already have the sensor i just need the clip

I havnt found any cars that have the air temp sensor plug.
Green means the computer is on.

Orange will flash when the car is on, and with the car off but in reds, if its on means your tps is calibrated etc.

Red means their is an error.

You can splice into the water temp sensor, youd splice into the purple wire. BUT
most likely the autometer guage will have a different range compared to factory sensor.
Best way to do it is to plumb the auto meter electrical sensor.
