Stock t2 coils and n/a coils are 100% the same.

I HATE MSD.

What microtech do you have?

If your microtech is not programmed for std coils you cant use them.

but my setup has four individual msd coils, is that the same as your friends??
and ive seen alot of guys here in the states use them... and the main reason why i dont want to just get rid of the coils is because i wont get wat i paid for them and i really want to finish my project and this is the last thing i need to get done..

but one more question... does the base map that microtech puts in theyre EFI's start any and every engine?? not matter the setup?? and if so, can the car be driven or does it need to be tuned right away??

If its all standard. It will start. May not run very well but it will start.

If your setup is different, especially different injectors to standard maybe not.
what setup do you have?

well i kept it a lil basic, i got bosch 550cc primaries and 720cc secondaries.. but i plan on switching those around and getting 1600cc secondaries after my break-In.
and i have a bigger turbo..

Heres wat i do have:
550cc primaries
720cc secondaries
MSD 8207 Coils x4
Aeromotive FPR A1000-6 EFI
Garett .70 A/R Turbo
Microtech LT10s + X4 box

ill post some pics of the specific parts of the setup

but i have another question, my lt10s has the wire for the O2sensor... does that mean i can get the innovate 5 wire O2 sensor that leads to a single wire and make it work with the microtech??

You have to wire the msd's in like the coils and then your orange and black wire from the msd's go to the coils. So, you will run the yellow and the yellow/black wire to the white wires of the msd's and the ignition red to the red. Then your battery 12v and grd. go to your battery as usual. Your trailing will be just like the x4 box. They won't be on the msd boxes. They'll be controlled by the x4 box which will be fine.

If you cant find it you havnt looked hard enough. I posted it the other day in another thread but here goes again

Leading 1 (Bottom Front Rotor) = Yellow
Leading 2 (Bottom Rear Rotor) = Yellow/Black
Trailing 1 (Top Front Rotor) = Orange
Trailing 2 (Top Rear Rotor) = Orange/Black

Hope that helps.

i blew my x4 box using msd coils i think. its probably because of the specs of the coils though so watch out. i have the msd 8232 coils. they have little resistence thats why i think i blew them. but still not sure. would like other people to see the specs of that coil to see if im correct.
