look through the archives n such they have a whole thread with maps of all different configurations. find one closest to your setup and go from there.

any map is going to be a rough basis just to get the car running and drivable and shouldn't be boosted on until it's cleaned up properly and professionally, you know that i hope.

if your car runs and drives now then leave it alone and find a tuner. the stock base maps are fine for 95% of the configurations unless you have massive primaries(which you don't), so what is the problem?

that is the issue i need it to run because the people whom i prefer to have tune my car are 350miles away. I figure if I get someones map similar I can take it easy and work out the kinks later.

so the car doesn't run is what you're saying? what i basically meant is the original map your ECU came with should get the engine to fire up and should be somewhat ok to drive on unless your fuel pressure is jacked or you have some other issues.

Here's something I always wanted to know when people share Microtech maps...

Do you guys just type it all in, or is there a way you are actually getting this from the ECU?

I've created a program in VB to successfully dump a Microtech matrix table into a text file, allow editing of it, then send it back to the ECU. But I have not really played with it for several years. Is there a need for such a thing?

entered manually,, all timing numbers relative to 5ATDC being 0 in the microtech
( so map values of 30 are actually 25 BTDC )
and in 2.5 D handset mode,,, which if your really wanting to fine trim it can be converted to matrix with all maps same function ,, blah , blah

i find they go quite well ( for what they are ) just using the 2.5 D tune
( by utilizing the WOT and the cruise map adjusts )
and that matrix is only necessary for rather fickle engines,, and has its own bugs

here is my generic map for 550/1000 ,, at 40 psi base pressure with appropriate secondary staging
err rich and low boost till you can get it on a dyno

staging value and mix trim may change by as much as 5 % depends on the primary injectors used
( some latency differences between high and low ohming injectors )

normal disclaimers apply,, be sure your fuel system and voltage systems is up to it
be sure you understand that the -5 mark of the s4/5 pulley is used as datum zero and all values are relative to -5 ATDC
( ie,, 30 set in T max equates to 25 BTDC )

as is this staging value at 78% is to suit s5 550 saturated style primary injectors
with peak hold early s4 injectors you may find staging smoother with values down towards 72 %
be aware staging % effects the fuel map PRESTAGING and so changing its value down will lean the point just prior to staging
