Just spoke to microtech and they are not planning to make a 4 line with the map storage,

they were actually thinking of stopping making the 4 line all together now the laptop software is out,

Well that's too bad, but the 2 line with map storage is still available and will continue to be in the near future?

Yes the 2 line with map storage will be avaliable for as long as the LT ecus are avaliable,
From talking to Microtech yesterday the LT series is going to be around for a while to come yet. With a few updates along the way.

Updates that we can get? Nothing too major that would require a new ECU or anything?

Thats the good thing with microtech, updates can be done to your existing ecu, if you had a 4 year old MTX8 you can send it back and get it updated to the latest LTX8 with out having to buy a new box,
