Look like Microtech is coming out with new LT >> C units

Don't know to much about the options, maybe some that knows more can chime in.

Thanks

yes they now have can communication and other unannounced options according to their facebook. I doubt they have yet to implement a decent save/load from/to disk or updated the software from a dos looking program. But you never know.....

Well that's so very nice of them.

Now what about us LT8s owners who were promised new software 8 years ago?

how would they sell all those laptop dongles if they allowed live map save/loading?

20 years from now they just MIGHT catch up with the current megasquirt..

it's too bad because i always liked the setup of the microtech and tuning with them but they're so behind the times now and show no incentive to change. reconfiguring anything with these units being firmware/hardwared into the units is rediculous. every other manufacturer has the ability to change just about everything that the ECU controls without internal restructuring.

Exactly. However the current LT16 laptop software does seem to have load and save functions. I'm just not brave enough to try the load function (save seems to write the map to disk).
