My e-fan will not go on!

So i took my car out the garage to clean it and i let it run for a bit i relized the fan didnt kick in. I check my temps and they were high. Well i checked to see if it was a relay that went out and during that process i forgot how to put the wires back on the relay. Next i took the fan out to see if the fan still worked and it does when i hook it up to straight power.

I looked inside the clip of the fan and its burnt, but it still works

now my efan is controled directly by the lt10s, i have a WHITE wire going to my harness, i have a GROUND wire , i have a positive wire for the fan, and another redish wire going to my vehicle harness

Wich ones do i connect to each of the numbers on the relay 30-87-86-85

I will be taking the car this week back to my tuner, but its 30miles away so i need this to work some what i dont want to run it to a switch but if i have to i will just till iget to the shop.

Alex

aaron cake im not sure but youve blundered something their. thats not right at all.

IT should be like this

white wire from microtech goes to PIN 85
Positive wire for the fan goes to PIN 30
Im assuming the reddish wire is 12v LIVE (from battery) this should go to pin 87
Your still missing a wire. Their should be 4 wires.

Youll need a 12v iginition wire that goes to pin 86.

the ground wire for the fan just goes to chassis somewere good.

Yeah, I really screwed the pooch on that one. I had a conversation with someone halfway through writing that post and it threw me. Post deleted, and corrected info below.

Don't know what "clip" you are referring to, but if the fan still works, this is how you connect it.

Connect your fused 12V source from the battery to terminal 30. Connect terminal 87 to the + wire of the fan. Ground the negative. Connect switched 12V from IGN to 85, then connect 86 to the aux output of your Microtech.

Agree and to test to make sure its all working.. just put a spare wire on the PIN85 and earth it out.. and that will tell you if everything else is hooked up properly.. that way you dont run any risk of screwing up the earth triggers in the microtech
