Question Microtech Software Updates

Is there any news or info on the release date of the new software. Or at least the list of new features and improvements.

It was supposed to be released in late 2004.

I have a LT12S and it would be nice to have the new software.

I know that's the latest software, but it's still labeled as Beta.

Microtech was supposed to release the updates software at the same time the LT series were supposed to be released. That was supposed to be last year in July-August.

It's almost a year. I was just asking if there is any news about it.

Actually, XP Pro is based on Win 2000 so installing the MT software on XP Pro is no problem.
and as far as I know about the software MT did put out a new non-beta version late last year it is version 1.2

Lately I am starting to have mad problems with the software. It keeps crashing on XP Pro. It did re-installations and cleaning the registry before each install but it keeps giving me runtime errors.

I tried simulating Windows 98/2000 with no luck.

Could someone close to Micotech to please put up on the software, or at least give a friggin estimate on the new release

i have been running the software on XP PRO for the last 2 years with no problems at all, if it is crashing you have a problem somewhere else, the only version that will not work on XP is the very first version 1.0 beta it would not connect to the com ports,
just down load the version from www.microtechefi.com and try that

I have had the same problem. Some computers will run it on Xp, and some don't. I have tried ca 10 diffrent laptops. Only two I got working. Have also tried all vers. of the software. And win 95, win 98 and win 2000.

I have reinstalled windows a lot of times, and suddenly it works. At first I thought that it had to be something with the regional settings in windows since I'm located in Norway. But after I tried to install it with US setup, it still gave me the same error. "Runtime error 13"

Have tried contacting Tim at Microtech regarding this, but he have never heard about the problem.
